My family of 8 stayed here for Three nights. After a very hot sleepless night we told them the issue and they brought my parents the smallest fan in the world. And came and fixed our dial so it would work. Once again we had to complain. They moved my parents and friends rooms to bigger rooms with ac. Thank God! That first night I noticed ants on my bed so I brushed them off and tried to sleep. When I won't up at 4 I found bug bites all over my legs. I was grossed out and told my parents. One of the bites had been a spider and a part of my hip was huge. On the second night we found more bugs. And they never came to clean our rooms or give us new water bottles. Finally on the third night I woke up to more bugs in my best and I found there was a hole in the wall with them streaming out of it. I complained and they said they would take care of it. Before I left the bugs were still there and no one helped us. The outdoor pool is beautiful but there are not enough chairs to accommodate the amount of people staying here. The pool bar is not good there was a bartender who put sugar in my drinks that should never have sugar in them. My family made a reservation to go to dinner at the main restaurant. We got caught up in Siena and we canceled the reservations. They charged us a service fee to our room even though we did not eat there. The fee was like €15 a person. We had breakfast each morning and the first morning the kitchen was closed but the staff did not tell us for over an hour after we ordered eggs. If they had just said we do not have a way to cook it we would have moved on with our lives but instead we sat and waited for our food for too long. The stuff seemed mad and annoyed constantly and the servers were not helpful or attentive. The indoor pool was closed through out our stay. They used the small Church outside our building as a Laundry room. Very rude. I have traveled with my family for many years and I can not tell you how unhappy I am with our stay. We did not get what we expected from the Hilton name and as a points member I could not be more disappointed and dissatisfied. We will never return and that's quite sad because we wish to attend the Palio again. Get more staff, get red of the bugs and fix your staffs attitude. The only thing good was the pizza place even though we had to calla waiter over to take our order the food was lovely. The out door pool is nice. The only one to be helpful to us was Julia she tried so hard to help us with our troubles.

Absolutely fabulous resort. The island (well, I still call it an island although it's connected to…read morethe mainland by a couple of bridge-like roads) is so peaceful, my husband and I really got the relaxation we were hoping for. Everything is beautiful here. The rooms are very modern and comfortable, our private balcony was lovely. We golfed, took walks, worked out at the gym, swam, played billiards and ping pong, and had the most fab dinner at the restaurant. And the breakfast was one of the best we've had in our 3 weeks in Tuscany. The staff was super friendly, extra shout out to Sabrina at front desk! Highly recommend this special place!

We did have the course almost to ourselves though and the price was reasonable. The main reason for less stars is the furniture in our room was very tired. We did not have a comfortable sitting chair in the living area and the cushions in the couch were very flat and sunken. We both also broke out in bed bug bites two days after our first night...yuck. For those reasons, I would not recommend it for such a high price or any price.

We love to visit spas world wide and I was looking forward to this oasis in the Tuscan hillside…read more The concept of sulfur spas isn't new. I understand they can be a bit smelly. My problem with this spa was that it isn't a spa really but more of an (expensive) public pools. So I took my spouse and two daughters. Parking is 2,50€, admission is 25€ per person. Want a chair? That's more. No towels. No robes. And the changing room is a locker room without soaps or shampoos and wall mounted blow dryers. The pools are all one temp. I had a spa service Oil Massage and it was relaxing, but there isn't a respect at all for modesty (yes she walks around and leaves you all uncovered) and after I was told don't shower for 30 min. I had to ask for water and the "relax room" is just a waiting room with some magazines. I was done by then. There was no tour when we arrived so we never found the Turkish Baths. But I wouldn't think that would be enough to redeem the 280€ I dropped for 2 hrs of spa. Instead, I suggest you drive down the road in the late afternoon and use the public pools that are natural waterfalls and streams, and a very picturesque location. Pack a picnic, bring a towel and robe and enjoy the spring and the people watching. For free. I've included pics of the free location.
