When you enter, you have to pay $1 to park, so have cash ready if you want to visit. There are parking spaces all around the building and also a huge upper lot. When we were there, we were able to snag a space in front of the building, but I imagine in the summer or busier season it is probably pretty tough to park. They do apparently operate a shuttle from the upper lot to the main building when people do have to park farther away. It was an interesting and almost strange mix of vendors. I suppose that is why they rebranded from flea market to marketplace. There were many Amish and locally made food and houseware items. There were also a lot of craft type vendors (signs, crochet items, florals, wooden items). Mixed in were things like collectibles, sports memorabilia and a tee shirt place (where they could imprint one of their existing designs if you didn't see the size/color that you wanted). There were several food vendors (jerky, nuts, fudge). In the front (in a separate building) is Winetagous. It is a fun addition to the space with a great selection of wine and beer. When you first arrive, it is a bit overwhelming with the huge amount of entrances and sheer amount of vendors, but the facility is easy to navigate and the building is clean and well kept. There are tons of great places to shop in this area, but if you are looking for a one stop shop of sorts to see a wide variety of vendors (and cap off the visit with an adult beverage) this is a fun place to stop.

It is not really a flea market because everything sold is brand new. It's worth checking out if you are in the area. It can get crowded. Some of the people running the booths are nicer than others. Bring cash because not everyone accepts credit.

The ladies working the Sunday we stopped in were friendly and chatty. Both the main level and the lower basement level were easy to navigate and had rows and aisles full of merchandise from multiple vendors. There was even a 'western' section with some saddles, boots, and other horse supplies. We left with a counter top ice maker and a saw zaw for $30 and felt like it was a great deal. My dad bought a few things too. We paid cash and I'm not sure if there's a little bit of a discount for that, but we definitely paid less than the price on the stickers. Parking is a little small. We parked across the road and walked over.

I play a little game with myself of trying to find items in the antique store that are play creepy ugly and perhaps offencive by today's standards. I started this when I started going to antique malls with my mom and I was pretty much bored out of my mind cuz I was too young to Really Care About Antiques. And it's just kind of a thing I still do find it interesting. As far as Antiques and shops go I have to say the ones in Amish Country were pretty impressive. They had a much better selection and the store didn't have that icky musty smell that they usually do. I brought my mom to Amish country as a basically treat for just her. I fully expected to just have to suck it up and not really enjoy myself but just give her a good time. I have to admit I had a blast I think I bought more than she did. I found several things I was interested in. They had cool things for the yard lawn ornaments and neat bird houses I even bought it bracelets. Now that I'm home there were a couple things I saw that I regret not getting. In addition to a antiques they have cool crafts and decorating items, quilts, delicious fudge, all these canned items ... jellies and relishes and pickled things. So it's just not for hundred year old ladies looking for antiques there really are some cool stuff.
