Weibliche Verkäufer werden bei der Platzvergabe zu Gunsten von männlichen ausländischen Verkäufern erstmal links liegen gelassen und ignoriert.Dann wird 17euro pro Meter verlangt,aber man kann nur ab zwei Metern buchen. Bei Nachfrage per Email werden andere Preise genannt und die ab zwei Meter Buchung auch verheimlicht.Zwar zahlt man bei Reservierung im voraus nur 14euro pro Meter,aber die Reservierung und Voranmeldung wird geschickt blockiert.Und verkaufen tut man auf der Flohschanze auch fast nichts.Wer also mit Minus und Kosten für Anfahrt naxh Hause gehen will mit einer schrecklich unfreundlichen Erfahrung,der ist bei der Flohschanze richtig. Und Dank der scheinbar angeblichen Kontakte zum Bürgermeister werden sich leider die armen Händler auch nicht viel gegen die Organisation von Flohschanze wehren können, der scheinbar der Einzige finanzielle Gewinner aus der Flohschanze ist.Denn laut den Händlern ist die Unzufriedenheit und Frust mit der Organisation sehr groß.

I went here on the lookout for some bits of furniture for my new apartment while staying in a…read moretemporary apartment around the corner. It was a poor excuse for a market. The stalls are a mess with piles of old junk mostly strewn about in no order. It would only take the stall owners 5 minutes to tidy up after people rummage through their stall. They could take more pride in the general appearance of their stalls. They are just standing in the cold after all with not much else to do to keep their hands warm. In saying that, I did manage to pick up a nice retro,small coffee table for a great price. The seller was a bit pushy with a second table I ended up buying. I probably could have gotten a better deal as its easy to haggle here. I up- styled both tables and now have something I love for a reasonable price. Overall, I wouldn't recommended this market unless you have some free time on your hands anyway. Most of the goods are poor quality and only fit for the charity shop. There are many stalls selling old clothes and shoes. Others focus on mainly junky bits of ornaments. You might pick up chairs if that's what your're after, they have plenty here from dining chairs, to cane and wicker chairs. You could be lucky though and find a nice gem and hey, that's what the flea market is all about.

We arrived around 8am on a Sunday and stayed until closing at 9:30. The area was full of vendors with apparel, souvenirs, handmade German items, fresh fish, treats, veggies, fruits, and more. I enjoyed having a smoked salmon fish sandwich for breakfast. Highly recommend this on the water experience.
