Went there on mother's day and tried the Anticuchos, they were great. Then i ordered Papa a la Huancaina for my daughter that is a big fan of it (she orders it almost every Peruvian place we go), She normally devours it but this time She kept saying it didn't taste good and was eating very slow, I decided to try it. and man it was bad. The sauce; that it normally has to be made with Queso fresco, tasted like it was made with any other type of cheese but that one and also you could taste a lot the milk. So i told the waiter, which it was only one for all the tables in the restaurant, and whom you have to try to get his attention to come to your table cause obviously he was busy, that the dish didn't taste good. He started explaining me that the dish is good, that it's just that he added more milk to it to make it more liquid. I said OK, but we don't wanted (being that my daughter only had 2 bites of it) and i obviously wanted to return it. but he kept giving his explanation 3 times more, arguing how the food was good and that it was just the milk and bla bla bla. Listen, i know exactly how to make this dish and how its supposed to taste plus i am Peruvian! so if a customer is telling you that they don't want something cause they don't think it tastes good, you just take the plate away and apologize, not keep trying to change our minds over and over. Anyways at the end he just said oh, not worries i won't charge you for it and left the plate in the table. Didn't offer if i wanted to order anything else, so obviously my daughter ended up eating from my plate. Here comes the funny part at the end when it was time to get our bill for the food the total without tax was $71.94 which it was the right price for all we ate and obviously without charging my daughter's dish, but tell me how from $71.94 adding tax (9%) our check ended up to be $88??? Ha! I complained and show him on the calculator how $71.94 plus tax was only $78.41 and not $88 and something like he put in our check, We weren't even a big group to charge some percentage for being a big party, we were only 4! His only reply was, oh, oh mmm well that's what my cashier is giving me! I just told him, You need to fix your machine, or stop charging people for food they didn't eat cause you didn't cook it good!!!! Never coming back again! read more

The man who owns this restaurant is an absolute animal. People need to realize that power scooters are vehicles and we belong on the road. Read the CA DMV manual we have the same rights as bicycles and can share the road. I follow all local and CA State ordinances, I proudly have driven over 3000miles on my Segway Scooters. This man must of been drunk not realizing their business name and business phone number are plastered on their beat up Burgundy Pick-Up. Angry that I was on the pavement(CA law stipulates I have the right to ride on the pavement as any other lawful vehicle), as I am riding Westbound on Rosecrans Ave, as I stop at the light this man tries to run me over. Literally committed attempted vehicular manslaughter. This man attempted murder while road raging. I beg you do not promote this man's business. Only he knows the type of atrocities he is capable of. Smearing the name of hard-working immigrants with his reprovable behavior. No wonder Americans do not want immigrants. His behavior is not ok and the Sheriff will not act. read more

I was really disappointed with my visit to Antichuchera Danessi in Norwalk. I had high hopes based on some reviews, but my experience was completely the opposite. First of all, the service was incredibly slow and the staff seemed disorganized and uninterested in helping customers. When I finally got my food, it was cold and didn't taste fresh at all. The meat was tough and lacked flavor, and the sides were bland. On top of that, the portion sizes were small for the price they charge. The place also didn't feel very clean -- tables were sticky, and no one seemed to be wiping them down between customers. Overall, it felt like they just didn't care about quality or customer satisfaction. I won't be coming back and definitely wouldn't recommend this place to anyone looking for good food or good service in the area. read more

I've to tell that this eating place is by far the greatest Peruvian eating place I've tested. My boyfriend is crazy with one individual dish named the Lomo Saltado. He cant get enough of it. My loved is the Tallarin Verde. We like to dine out alot and have tested other Peruvian places but nothing compares to this spot. By the outside looks like a hole in the wall as you drive by and easy to miss. Its placed on a busy intersection point on Pioneer and Rosecrans right across the street from In & Out. I am astonished that there aren't many reviews about this gem. I unquestionably recommend this place! Remember to ask for the green sauce - it's spicy and goes well with the meats! read more

I had a fantastic experience at Anticucheria Peruana. We drove 2.5 hours to get there, and it was absolutely worth the journey. The food is outstanding, and the service is great. The only reason I gave two stars is because the anticuchos are good, but the customer service is horrilbe!!! The owner is by far the worst experience, his customer service skills are are not for a person who should be running a restaurant. I ordered a Ceviche once and you could taste the lemon juice was from a bottle, horrible!. If you like anticuchos I could recommend getting your order for to go, or if you don't mind the bad service you can stay. read more
