They are a chain store, and the leading health and beauty retailer in the United Kingdom. This branch inside the Westfield Stratford City Mall is large. We stopped in after having dinner at Nando's. For some reason, the cough medicine in the U.K. seems to be better than in the States. So we wanted to purchase a couple bottles to bring back home. Found them here at Boots. Price was fair. It was easy to find because the store was well organized and very clean. Service was spot on as well. Everytime we travel to London, we stay in the Stratford area. Now that we know that Boots is here, it is sure to be a regular stop as well.

This is the only Chemist I know of that can mend, protect and soothe at ridiculous hours when surprise accidents decide to descend upon us! Only downside [aside from the fact that the cute pharmacist has a girlfriend] is the location - right on the corner of Gants Hill roundabout with limited, if no parking at all. So, make sure you take a companion that can defend the car against deadly bacteria - otherwise known as traffic wardens, who rather shamelessly lurk around those high-profile streets at ridiculous hours [get a real job!!]

Boots at London Canary Wharf Jubilee Place is a fairly useful location - the store isn't a great…read moresize so the product selection from what one would usually expect to find in a Boots from cosmetics to beverages is a little smaller, but for me, it does offer a useful range of services in its' location in a very business, rush and go area of London - It has a pharmacy with multi-lingual staff where you can have some NHS services like flu vaccinations and prescriptions, or perhaps these services on a non-NHS basis too if you no longer qualify for example. The staff around the store seemed pretty generic, not too helpful or friendly but seemed to get the job done which at the end of the day is okay for a store like this. The pharmacy is open until midnight is also really useful if you're in the area to pick-up medication - this means the pharmacy section is open when the rest of the store isn't as it is over two floors. Perhaps not as modern as other Boots stores, and it might not have the best of selections in the main floors, but it serves a highly useful purpose as it does offer a good range of services, in a good location with really good opening hours. 3*
