Completed in 2015 for approximately A$13 million, it was Australia's largest floating structure at the time. It serves as a major "tourism transport hub," most notably as the departure point for ferries to Mona (Museum of Old and New Art). Gayle and I wandered through during a morning walk along the Hobart waterfront. I came out with a nice Huon Pine Magnet from the good folks at Tiger Ina Papera Unique Woodcraft, who also has a gallery in the Salamanca Art Centre.
