Got booked in a week later, on the day after changing the parts the noise has indeed reduced! But there was something else causing the clunking noise.. they gladly invited me to come back around a few hours later after i called in. We did a test drive with one of the mechanics who was very helpful; he has lifted up the car again and checked through again and has found that the previous mechanic didn't tighten the droplinks correctly. He has tightened them correctly and long behold the noise was completely gone! No extra charge and a lot of peace of mind!! Would recommend!

What looked as fast and reliable service turned into huge disappointment…read more Got two new tires balanced and fitted here. After driving away I noticed that the was a vibration on the steering wheel after reaching motorway speeds of over 100km/h Suspecting poor wheel balance went back to the garage. This time wheels were balanced by more experienced staff which was a bit surprise as I would suspect same level of quality regardless to who's doing it. I drove away but the problem persisted. Believing that the balance was done right I began to blame my new tires and even stared to suspect some suspension problems. After the trip to Cork I got fed up. The steering wheel kept vibrating like mad. Got back to Dublin and decided to get an independent check straight away. At the garage they took off the wheels leaving all the weights on the wheel to check the balance first. Results were astonishing Wheel balance was 35-40g off on each new tyre. Machine or human fault? Doesn't matter. Will never go back there again. Waste of time.

My next journey in the car was to wexford and while on the motorway the car started shaking and making noise. I luckily got to a Renault garage and when my car was examined I was told that the tyre that had been put on by Red Cow Tyres had not been tightened or screwed in properly. I wa very lucky that the wheel had not come off when I was driving on the motorway. I phoned and spoke to someone who works at Red Cow Tyres but I was told that it is up to the customer to check the tyre is on properly after driving 30 miles. I have never heard of this and I know nothing about putting a tyre on. I had paid to get the tyre replaced and put on. I just want people to be aware of this situation asit is very serious and I was very lucky I didn't cause or be involved in a serious car accident because the wheel was not tightened properly.

Its very hard to find a place for a wash and valet at the weekends. I had a stain on the carpet which was removed so I was a very happy customer leaving.

Recommended by my brother, for me this is usually my go to place for large drums of oil or window cleaning fluid and things like wipers. They offer great prices so it's worth popping along... For me though, like with a lot of mechanic/car service places I feel always feel super intimidated and unfortunately there's no change with this place... Am always reluctant to ask questions, instead prepping before hand with the hubby :-)
