In from out of town for business. Met my sister was ironically in town as well. I was having a stressful morning where nothing was going right. Our waitress noted I was stressed and thought it was due to the Keto diet on I am on... She lit in to me... "google that sh*t... a potato will not harm you, it will stop you from being hangry". That's just one of the lines she threw at me. I left 30 minutes later. I can't tell you if the food was any good. I was too stressed to really know that. What I can tell you is that Della is a magician. She turned my frown upside down. I'm sure she doesn't talk to regular people like that but she somehow knew that I needed a dose of rather direct and abrupt medicine. I'm from Chicago. She's from Mississippi. We couldn't be more different yet we connected because of her mad skills. I could not be more appreciative. Ask for Della by name. I'm sure the good is good but Della is priceless. read more

I could be more wordy with my review, but honestly I don't want to take up more of my time with this place. If you are in the Jackson area I would suggest Primos Cafe. You will spend less money and get a better breakfast. While they are friendly and the service was acceptable, the food was not. For the price you pay, you should get more than two tough pancakes and runny eggs (these were ordered over easy but someone went to easy on them. The scrambled eggs were adequate). The bacon was delicious and I was thankful for it since it was all I ate of my $11+ meal. The cinnamon roll French toast was smothered in "foster" sauce, which is basically caramel sauce that was surely included to hide the fact that you are eating nothing better than Sam's club cinnamon rolls (no offense to Sam's) dipped in egg and disguised as a $13+ meal. The kids meals are small, but include a drink. My child was fine gnawing on the pancakes I didn't eat once his tiny pancakes ran out. Another person in our party ordered chicken and waffles and did not prefer the seasoning on the chicken. I didn't try it myself, so I digress. I am not sure of the prices at other locations, but these could be a result of the pricey rent they must pay to be in Renaissance. read more

I thought the interior was pretty nice and comforting and the waitress was alright. This is one of my favorite brunch places. The past few times I've gone though, the service has been really slow. We waited almost 40 minutes for our food to come out, and our servers were inattentive. My food was hot when it came to the table, but my mom's was not. Her order was incorrect, but because the servers never came to check on us, she just ate it. I really hope they get it together because I enjoy their food. read more

There was a 30-40 minute wait for a table so I got a cup of coffee at Starbucks next door. They wouldn't let me bring it to the table. I would have ordered coffee from them if they offered it while I waited. Management wouldn't make an exception for the long wait so they lost four customers for life but I guess the potential loss of one coffee sale was worth it to them. read more

Great food. My daughter and I went on July 3 for brunch. It was very busy and we had to wait 30 minutes for our table. Then, no one greeted us or took our drink order. The bartender ended up picking up our table and he had too much on his plate. However, he was polite and the hearty food chosen from a large menu with many options earned this place 4 stars from me. The pancakes are huge. My potato, asparagus, shrimp dish was great. The rasberry tea doesn't need sugar. We will be back. read more

On our merry way to New Orleans this morn, we stopped at this delightful restaurant for breakfast and were treated to our waiter Andrew's fine service and good food, to boot. Two of us raved about the omelettes,and my husband said the LaFitte burrito was "best ever". The oatmeal was just okay but muffins very tasty. As we left, Andrew obliged us with to-go cups and we were wishing him safe travels, as he is planning to work at another Another Broken Egg in Orlando-- mississippi's loss and florida's gain! Breakfast at "Another Broken Egg" is a good way to start your day. The atmosphere is very nice (not noisy). Had the Floridian omelet. Getting the right consistency with the eggs are a personal preference so I can't complain. Good meal, good coffee and friendly staff what more can one expect. read more

They should learn how to cook eggs. I told waiter cook well done & they could even be char broiled. Runny eggs brought out. I asked him to return & cook them. They were once again brought out runny.
