Shrimp and Grits were great. The service was a massive letdown. Our waitress came back in from her smoke break reeking of cigarettes 5-10 minutes after we sat down. She then was unable to properly check on us, fill up our drinks, or check on the quality of the food that came out. We ordered a hash-brown Benedict that came out with an overcooked egg. We couldn't track down our waitress so grabbed the manager in a blue shirt to send it to be remade. He then looked at us like we were crazy. Very disappointing experience in every way. read more

My boyfriend and I went for breakfast and it wasn't a hot morning so we sat outside on the patio. I don't remember my servers name but she was pretty good. Being a server, I could tell by her demeanor she felt she wasn't going to get a decent tip from us but she still did a pretty good job. Anywho, that didn't interrupt the dining. The shrimp and grits were even better than the first time I tried them. The cook must've thrown a little extra cheese into the grits because the creaminess and thickness of them was perfect for me. I had a cranberry mimosa and it was SUPER bubbly, which didn't bother me at all (wink, wink). I love the brunch options at this place, much better than Eggs Up in my opinion. Can't wait to dine in again! read more

One of my favorite breakfast/brunch spots in the Upstate! Great service, excellent food, and alcohol available if you want it! I've been quite a few times and am always pleased - the servers are very friendly and the manager is always seen and checking on customers. It is always wonderful to have a spot with mimosas available all through the week for an affordable price! The spike cold brews are also delicious! The omelettes are a great go to and easily customizable and the huevos rancheros comes with freshly fried tortillas which are amazing! read more

I take offense to the managers comment denying what happened. My mother was with me and can confirm the accounts of this unfortunate visit. YES, Business Manager, it DID happen!! Maybe not on your watch, but it happened. No second chances with me since the servers obviously don't care what kind of food they serve. read more

When I first visited an Another Broken Egg, I was really excited to see that they have GF pancakes, and especially flavored pancakes. But in visiting this one a couple of times, I just don't feel that it is meeting expectations. Yes, they still have the GF pancakes, and that's good. But they got my order wrong; I didn't want goat cheese in my blueberry/lemon pancakes. That's just nasty. When someone doesn't get your order right, and, apparently, doesn't check it to make sure it's right, you have to wonder if you even got the GF pancakes. Also, I didn't care for the coffee. Any place that markets itself as a breakfast restaurant should have a top-notch coffee; maybe two coffees. Don't skimp on this! This is certainly not a bad place; I just think it's an average place. read more

This place has tasty food but unfortunately that tasty food is also hairy. I went here two weeks ago with a girlfriend and she found a massive black hair in her fruit. Our pomegranate seeds were fermented too. They only took off $5 per person. The manager Rob gave us two free meal vouchers which was nice. Skip ahead to today, when we were going to redeem them. We order our food after a very long wait because the server didn't realize we were in her section. The berry pancakes had, you guessed it, ANOTHER hair. The manager profusely apologized and comped our whole meal and brought out new pancakes. The staff is very nice and the manager handled the situation well but I think they need to invest in some hair nets in the back. read more

It was our first time eating at this establishment and we will be going back!! I highly recommend that everyone try this place!! We were greeted with a smile when we walked in and were spoken to by all the wait staff, however in my humble opinion the best employee there is Anna! She was kind, prompt, funny, the only way to truly explain it would be to say we felt like family. Now the food is easy to describe, it was incredible!! Decent lunch place. The place was a bit slow for a Thursday lunch hour. It took some time for our food to come out which was surprising considering there weren't too many customers around. Chicken and waffles were 7 out of ten The shrimp and grits was such a small serving, I needed to eat something after I finished this. I don't know if I got a tiny portion because it was delivery, but it was $60 between both meals and this was certainly not substantial. The flavor of everything was good though. Edit I was reached out to by someone who informed me I would be contacted by someone from the restaurant. I was never contacted. The lack of concern in private after public acknowledgment over this situation makes my experience worse. read more

Ok back thru town again! Free coffee with check in ya! I opted for Mardigras Omelete with crawfish and gulf shrimp yummy!! Bf had Shrimp n grits again. Hope I get a taste hee hee. Omg we died and went to heaven. We traded forks full to each other and were pleasantly both amazed how good they both were! Our cute waitress came around a few times for refills. Although he told her that a bit mor bread and grits were needed for him. But it was good tho. He did steel some of my grits. Then.... she told us about City grits! Grits with Guyre, topped with bacon and green onion and diced tomatoes ... omg. This is the way we will order grits here again! read more

We stopped in for an Omelette and some coffee. This is a really nice, fresh, bright place... It's colorful and pleasant inside... So many breakfast/brunch places are just boring. Booths and tables surrounded with four walls. Another Broken Egg was much more pleasant. I was pleased with the service. Food was great - I did get an omelette and was quite pleased. Good high quality ingredients, well executed. Coffee was perfectly fine. Our server kept the cups full. They serve bloody Marys, etc. So that's a plus. They also have some really good premium coffee. What's not to like about that. read more

This was the most horrible restaurant experience we've ever had. Do not go to this restaurant. First, we waited more time than was estimated for our table. The hostess had attitude as well as every server that came to our table. We asked to be seated inside no one came so we seated ourselves at a dirty table. It took 15 minutes With two weight staff that had serious attitude to wipe our table with a napkin. No disinfectant. I wonder what they're doing in the kitchen? I wouldn't trust it if I were you. We got up and walked out. Nobody said a word. No one made any effort to amend the situation.this place should be out of business or the manager fired. I'm am going to just repost when I sent to the manager and I will keep you updated What on earth is going on with the Greenville facility? or is that the way your staff is trained to treat customers? I ordered for the first time. My placed my order was acknowledged at 8:29 to be ready at 8:48. I arrived shortly after and a woman in a burgundy shirt looked me in the face and turned around. No greeting. Not be with you in a moment. I then waited to the hostess who provided me with a sigh and a greeting of "How many". I informed her I ordered online, and she asked my name and then let me know she would let me know when my food was ready without even checking the bags on the table in the main room. I had to again ask her to check my order and she asked me my name AGAIN and brought me the bag at 9:02. Of course, my food was cold, but I did not have time to wait and ask to have it remade. It basically took 32 minutes to get 20.00 dollars' worth of cold food (shrimp and grits) with a big old side of rudeness and incompetency. Needless to say, I mentioned this when I got to work and not one of the 4 people, I spoke to has had a positive experience with your place. That was the first and absolutely the only time I will patronize your restaurant. I case you are not aware (I'm sure you are) Woodruff Rd is rife with places to eat and It's a journey to get to any of them due to traffic. I rarely go to Woodruff rd. unless I have to for an appointment and to get up early and to go out of my way to try your restaurant told me I should always follow my first instinct and stay local. I would like a refund as the food and treatment were not up to my standards and certainly not Greenville's. I would have address this with the manager but clearly, they hired those people so I would doubt they would care. read more

Parking here is plentiful. The decor reflects the typical vibe of a sports bar/restaurant, with TVs mounted throughout, all tuned into a variety of sports. During our visit, college football, golf, soccer, and baseball were all on display, with the Manchester vs. Chelsea soccer match attracting a notable crowd. While the restaurant is one large space, its layout allows guests to find tables or seating areas that offer a sense of privacy. The menu includes all the expected favorites: pizza, calzones, wings, burgers, and a diverse selection of other items. The pizza is particularly popular, and they boast an extensive craft beer list. Our server was busy but attentive, and the food was quite good--though I would suggest cooking the wings a bit longer for optimal flavor. This is a definite sports bar in a large and airy space with a large rectangular bar in the center, booths along the walls and plenty of table seating. There is also space for outdoor seating on a covered porch, weather permitting. I counted 24 big screen TVs spread around with three on each side of the rectangular bar, one on the end. The music was straight up rock music, not soft rock or country rock, just rock, like Rock 101 style (mostly 70's-early 80's). Seated pleasantly, immediately. But had to wait near five minutes for any further attention. It wasn't that busy, but there wasn't that much help either. Shiela took good care of us, once she got started. The only service glitch was when the food arrived (17 minutes from ordering) the side of fries was forgotten. Initially, a bummer. But it was also immediately noted by Shiela as she was serving the food. Turns out it be a good thing. We had to wait 7 minutes for the fries to arrive, but they were piping hot and crisp straight from the fryer. Shiela told us the cook chose to drop a new batch, which Shiela also said was a good thing since the fries get a little lumper and greasy if they sit for a while. Which makes sense. But these were top marks on crisp outside, fluffy inside textures and flavor corresponds. Wings were very good but on the small side. No lemon pepper but the Carolina sweet BBQ were good. I tried the new special, something like a French onion dip smashburger. It was a smashburger, one patty, no lettuce or tomato or such, cheese and a melted slice of Swiss cheese on the top of the burger bun. Served with a side of what they called a French onion au jus but was really their French onion soup without the bread and melted cheese. I imagine some guy in the menu development department got to thinking about the French dip sandwich concept and that led him to think about French onion soup and then since he's been watching a lot of the Food Channel a mashup idea began and the smashburger winds up in the mix because it is a recent trend. A French dip/onion soup smashburger. It tastes alright, but conceptually, it doesn't go together palette wise or aesthetically. The burger is served with a steak knife, because it also looks questionable as to whether one should or can pick up the burger - it looks messy. But doable. It's just the flavor combo didn't hit, too much clash with the burger from the onion soup. Barring the fries mishap, this was okay. I bet it would be awesome if I were in my 20's and I bet my sons would be crazy about this place on a Football Saturday in the fall. Not bad, but "not my bag, baby!"
