Our first time at Another Broken Egg Cafe and it was great. The service was outstanding from the minute we walked in the door and being greeted by hostess till the last topping off of my coffee as I was paying the bill. Given it had just recently opened I was expecting some glitches but there were none. There is no comparison how smooth this place is running against the nightmare of when, oh let's say, IHOP opened up a few blocks away. It was really busy at ABE when we went but the wait was shorter than we were told and there was free coffee while we waited. The food selection is excellent- they have traditional breakfast fare to some more foo-foo type options. Maybe you like cream cheese stuffed with lobster and brie in your omelette? If you do you're in luck. I went with a more traditional sausage, bacon, onions and mushrooms, topped with Cheddar Jack cheese omelette. It was big, really tasty and with a piping hot plate it kept warm until the last bite. Also went with the mixed fruit - kiwi, strawberries , blackberries, and pomegranate - and it was a great pairing. I don't want to forget Ashley, our waitress, who was very attentive and on her game with refills of drinks and checking in to see if we needed anything. The staff here are very nice and patient. The food is great and so are the portion sizes. Not a fan of the hazelnut cold brew because it tasted very milky but everyone else liked it. Just a preference. It's more expensive than places like Waffle House and IHOP but you get what you pay for. Would recommend to try it at least once read more

Only 4 stars but I've ate at the one in Nashville and in Fairbon my opinion Nashville is 5 and Fairbon is a 4 . The one in Fairbon is very good I will eat there again just the one in Nashville was better and I ate their first. So when I found out they had one close to home we had to go . read more

I took my parents here when they came from out of town. My mom is quite picky and likes healthier options, there were many options and she enjoyed it. We went on Sunday. There was a long wait, but it was fine because if you have the Yelp app, then it'll update you what your status for a table is... Not a typical diner breakfast/brunch spot. Creative menu and the homemade sausage is delicious. Bacon was hard and overcooked. Eggs cooked perfect and coffee was not weak and watered down. Although a bit pricey, the food will not disappoint. The service was pretty good, they could be a bit more attentive. read more

We came into an empty lobby with a large group of 10. The hostesses seated the entire restaurant easily 1 to 2 times before we were sat. People who came in after us were leaving with to-go boxes before we were sat. Instead of waiting for two adjacent tables and then seating us, the hostesses couldn't resist the temptation to seat everyone else. SO happy to have Another Broken Egg Cafe in Beavercreek after moving here from Florida! After a 5 minute wait we were seated and ready to order. Our waitress Kira(?) was wonderful and personable. I got the chicken and waffles with chipotle honey and loved it. He got the classic bacon burger (brioche bun FTW) with a side of country potatoes and he ate it without taking the tomato off which means he really really enjoyed it. This is one of my favorite breakfast restaurants, but this was the first time to this location. The wait for the food was a little on the long side, and the food had obviously been in the window for a while. Our grits were lukewarm, the omelettes were dry, the chorizo on mine was so overwhelmingly salty, I scraped most of it off, but still didn't finish, and I like salt. I've tried to like this restaurant, but the staff clearly needs more training. We waited for the waitress, who explained she didn't know whose table ours was, but brought coffee. Then the assigned waitress arrived and seemed flustered, and forgot to bring a special menu. Took our order after about a 5 minute wait. Food took 20 minutes to arrive and was cold. GF pancakes were tasty, but served with ice cold, hard butter. Will look elsewhere for breakfast. read more

The interior decorating far exceeds the quality of the food. We ordered blueberry pancakes with eggs and bacon as well as a Belgian waffle with potatoes and chicken sausage. The pancakes were not warm enough to melt the butter and there were barely any scrambled eggs, definitely not the 2 that are advertised to come with the meal. The waffle was very crunchy and not warm at all, like it had been sitting for a while. The chicken sausage was only good enough for one bite. The saving grace were the potatoes with their pepper sauce. It took over 25 min to get our food and sadly, it definitely was not worth the wait. Our experience at this restaurant was not good at all. Pancakes and eggs that I ordered was good but that's where it stops. When we sat down we noticed the napkins were sticking to it he table and my partner mentioned this to our server and suggested it needed to be wiped down. The waitress said that yes, they have been sticky all morning and did not wipe it down. My friends eggs were cold, the potatoes were undercooked and the English muffin was not toasted or heated through. We had to ask for silverware and for coffee refills.
