Great service, quaint location. Burgers are fresh, good size, and lots of choices. Waffle fries are so yummy. I prefer my onion rings thinner, but definitely our new burger spot.

We went to Anny's after son's flag football game. We each got a burger and a side. Everything was great. We all tried each others food and even my picky son loved each bite. The place was kinda busy and only a few seats open. People were getting done eating after we order and we were able to get a seat. Food came out quickly. The staff were friendly and asked if we needed anything else. The place was clean. From the floors to the drink area no trash or old food anywhere. My son wants to come back after each game. I said keep scoring TD's and I'll make it happen!

I prefer Anny's Fine over Five Guys in my mouth. I have visited here a couple of times as well as their Kearny Mesa location. This dining room area is relatively smaller in comparison, but the neighborhood restaurant has enough space to accommodate several families and beer buddy groups. There are also common area patio tables within the Santee Trolley Square food court area by the MTS station. Ample parking spaces too. Received a friendly greeting as I walked in. Checked out their chalkboard menu as well as the giant printed wall menu. Noticed some craft beers on tap. Took me a moment to decide on my to-go order because of the menu choices and options. Wifey got a Sand Dune and our Mini-Meez got their cheeseburger kids meals. This time I tried their Korean bbq steak sandwich. This craveable snack is hefty and could be a messy knife-and-fork meal for some to share. The bread held up well against the cheesy melty peppers and onions in the to-go box. Tender steak bites were tasty. For whatever reason my buds tasted more sweet teriyaki flavors over savory bulgogi vibes. Mini-me 2.0 wanted to check out the Bacon Cheese Fries. It's a good portion. I'd probably enjoy them more at dine-in because the fries don't stay crispy after getting smothered and covered for the car ride home.

Have been meaning to try this place after hearing great recommendations and I was not disappointed! Came in Tuesday evening and the place was busy with both pick up and dine in orders, there was only one person working in the front but she did amazing handling everything from what we could tell. We ordered the Texas burger, garlic fries and the chipotle burger, the portions are huge and everything was delicious, will definitely be coming back

6/16/24 - LOL, guess trying to find a place to eat out on Father's Day wasn't a good idea. I forgot it was. I went with a friend and we ordered at 5:54pm, the food arrived fast at 6:10. Both mushroom burger and California burger cooked well done as asked. No issues. Always nice service and clean inside. I haven't had any problems at this location. I recommend it to try.

We were in Santee running errands and visited Streets on a Saturday night. When we arrived it was…read morefairly busy, tables full, but no customers waiting yet. We were seated along the wall which had booth seating, which I prefer. For drinks I ordered a Thai tea no boba and the hubs a coke. We order the following items for dinner: Appetizers - - Crispy egg rolls - with pork (4 pieces) - served with veggies and fish sauce, these were tasty. - Salt pepper chicken wings - (8 pieces) they were a tad over fried but flavor was good. - Spring rolls - (2 pieces) with pork and shrimp, we ordered these Togo. Hubs enjoyed these for a late evening snack. Entrees - - Combination fried rice - chicken, shrimp and cha siu (Chinese bbq pork) I liked the flavoring of the fried rice - it was not bland, but I did mix in a tiny bit of hoisin sauce. - Pho rare steak - overloaded with green onions and cilantro. We always order pho but I really wasn't feeling it that evening, so it was all the hubs. If you love tons of green onions and cilantro, get it! The broth had a really strong flavoring of the cilantro. Overall dinner was fairly good. Seemed like there were regular customers that visited often. Staff were super nice and friendly. Parking lot was not packed at all. If in the area, I'd visit again. 2026: 7

Must try! Hidden Gem in Santee, CA…read more Service - prompt, friendly, packed our food for us. Timely service with no long wait. Food portions were generous and satisfying. Prices felt fair and worth it. Clean and well-kept environment. Just make sure toiletries are stocked Food was excellent -- generous meat portions, tender yet crispy orange chicken with balanced flavor. Rice was fluffy and filling. Hot and sour soup was a standout, especially for the price. **Overall: 10/10** Dad approved

So, I have ordered and even dined-in at this restraunt with my wife and kids for the past few…read moreyears. But tonight changed a lot of that. So, to start, my wife will occasionally get treated rather well at the restraunt; she was even given a few freebies while she was pregnant with our twins, so I usually thought rather well of this place, but every time I go, the treatment is different (maybe because I am not a tiny little Asian woman, who knows) but anyways, I go there tonight and I order roughly 120$ in food, and that's where things go south. First they charge me 1.50 for asking for my rice noodles without curry (my wife dislikes curry), which I am used to, but I think might offend them. From there, there is some confusion about my order. They almost forget one of my sides in the proccess, and forgot I ordered fried wontons, but again, that is NOT why I am leaving this review. I am leaving this review because of what happened in all this... So, to begin, I ordered off the menu because I wanted my food fresh, but still, they grabbed all our sides and two of my entrees right out of the to go bar; which would be fine EXCEPT the food on the menu is more expensive because it is FRESH, and not soggy or soft from sitting in a metal tray for like an hour and a half! The next thing that happens is while trying to find out about my wantons they: GO THROUGH MY FOOD. They literally touched all my fried items with ungloved hands while I am sitting there at the waiting table with them; trying to figure out their mistake like I was trying to steal food from them. The kicker being that they forgot to charge the wontons! So instead of being like: 'sorry about the inconvenience', they straight up go: 'oh hey, let us charge you for those after we touched all your food'. Needless to say, I was a bit aghast by all this, but what was worse than the service is the fact that the cook purposefully gave my wife bland unseasoned noodles because I asked for then with 'no curry' as if paying an extra 1.50 wasn't enough, they had to also be like: 'screw your taste buds for not liking our spices!' I mean, none of this was necessary, and it all felt pretty gross and rude by the end as I just took my food and left. All that said, my wife was pretty disappointed to hear about this and thinks we may need to find a new chinese place which really sucks. Yeah... but giving me old food, messing up my order, not preparing my food right (even after they charged extra for it), and touching my food makes me realize it's probably for the best. But hey, at least they remembered to charge me fried wontons, customer always comes last, you know?

Needed a meal and was in Santee so decided to go to Canes. Long drive-thru line so decided to run…read morein and order. No line at all inside and a nice cashier named Chris took my order. We chatted and in a couple minutes my to-go order was ready. Ate the fries on the way home, yeah, the yummy Texas toast, too. Enjoyed my 3piece chicken fingers with the awesome dipping sauce. I could drink that stuff( well, almost). It's not sweet, a bit tangy and is the big draw for me to get chicken fingers at Canes. Overall, the service was great(thank you, Chris), the food was delish and I'd go there again for sure.

Overhyped for What You Get…read more I honestly don't understand the hype around Raising Cane's. I finally gave it a shot after hearing so many people rave about it, and it was pretty disappointing. The chicken was dry, period. That's the main thing they serve, so it's kind of hard to overlook. The Cane's sauce is the only thing that really stood out as good -- it carries most of the flavor of the meal. The fries are mid at best, nothing special. The bread is literally just plain Texas toast with butter, which is fine but not exactly exciting. Even the sweet tea wasn't very sweet, which feels like a miss for a place that leans into Southern-style food. I really don't know why kids love Cane's so much. There are so many other places that serve chicken that tastes way better and offer more variety. Honestly, KFC feels like a better bang for the buck, which says a lot. Maybe it's just the hype machine working overtime, but for me this one didn't live up to it.
