While growing up in Helsinki…read moreand living in Kaivopuisto (part of Helsinki) I used to walk past this church several times a week. The wood carved seats, stain glass windows and the high sealing just created a royal feeling when entering this God's house. Had my first wine and bread there and I wanted to get married in this church but I got married in another country. Still to this day when I return to Helsinki, I always go in, sit there a moment and say a prayer. Visiting Johanneksenkirkko is my pilgrimage and I can highly recommend paying a visit to this beautiful architectural building.

I attended an afternoon concert at this beautiful stone church, which boasts an old-fashioned charm. It offers a great atmosphere for a wedding, christening or a funeral. If you are on your way to visit a graveside it is a wonderful idea to step in and have a moment just between you and your Higher Power.

Plenty of steps to get up to the church and inside is very simple but breathtaking but the showstopper is the outside where you can see vast part of the city. He just gave me a smile. he kind of remind me the combination of Attack On Titan and Manneken Pis. After visited The Crusell Bridge, I decided to have a walk to this place, it actually took a longer time than I expected, because of the construction around this place. Probably it would be a better idea just take the public transports. I like the statue, the expression and I also made some funny pictures. The park was founded and still functions as a plant breeding experimental site of the University of Helsinki. Simultaneously the eight-hectare area is a park open to the public. The first rhododendrons have been planted here in 1975. Meanwhile several different species grow some of which were created on this site and are internationally well known to handle temperatures of up to -40 degrees. Many paths and duckboards as well as some look-outs make it possible to explore most parts of the park in a comfortable way and are also accessible for wheelchair-users without problems.
