He arrived 15 minutes late to our wedding ceremony. When we received our photos, many were heavily overedited with unnatural tanning, excessive retouching, and obvious editing errors, including guests' body parts appearing to be missing. Just two days after we received the gallery, I requested the original, unedited photos. I was shocked to be told they had already been deleted to make room for a new client. Instead of taking responsibility, he claimed it was my responsibility to have requested the originals in advance. Deleting a client's wedding photos within days is, in my opinion, extremely unprofessional. I also asked for a short complimentary photo session to help make up for the disappointing results, but that request was denied. Our wedding photos are memories we can never recreate, and we are left with images that do not accurately reflect one of the most important days of our lives. My sister in law's cousin had used him for their wedding and he came highly recommended so we decided to set up an appointment to check out his work! We loved his work but we were torn since this was the first photographer we were meeting with and we didn't want to rush and make a decision before weighing our options! We had an appointment with another studio the very next day so we politely told Jay that we were going to follow up with him by the end of the week. But just as we were leaving my husband (of course fiance at the time) and I began to discuss how important it was for us to go with someone we felt comfortable with and someone whose work was original and high quality!!! So we caught Jay just as he was leaving and decided to book him that very night and we never regretted that decision!!! I can't begin to tell you how happy my husband and I were when we finally received a sneak preview of our photos!!! His work captures those moments that allow you to relive your momentous event! We shared it with our family and wedding party and everyone was completely enamored by Jay Kravetz's work!! My bridesmaids were joking with me saying they all wanted to renew their vows just so they could book Jay! He is extremely professional and very responsive which is important when you are planning such a significant milestone in your life. And we received our photo albums within 3 weeks of the ceremony. I told Jay that he was going to be our photographer for life! And I mean that too! We'll definitely use him for other significant life events; baby photos; family photos; renewal of vows etc... Thanks Jay!!

It was true! But aside from being a great, funny and fun-loving couple, The Pogos are amongst the best photographers you could hire to capture your wedding day. I've hired photographers before for work projects (nyc fashion photographers) and was blown away with the Pogos talent, equipment and work. As part of our photography package we also included an "engagement session", which was great as it gave us a chance to get to know Emily and Steve prior to our wedding day and get some practice in front of their cameras. It felt like just a fun day hanging out with friends in the park. Our photo session was under 2 hours and I was very impressed with how many great shots they got in that short amount of time. I was expecting maybe a dozen or so "good ones", but ended up with about 100 gorgeous shots! That's incredible for such a short amount of shooting time. I can only imagine how many beautiful shots we'll be getting from a full wedding day's time to work with. At our rehearsal dinner our guests got to know the Pogos as well and many commented on how fun and entertaining they were. On our wedding day, the Pogos were there taking charge during the formal photos and casually blended in with the party during the reception. I am confident they didn't miss a beat capturing every moment! Thank you Em and Steve for photographing our wedding!

I tried to message her on fb as well and am blocked. I left this review below because the photos were not edited well for the price. "If I am being completely honest there are a few things that could be improved. The photos weren't edited the best, the backgrounds are a little sloppy on a few. I added examples in comment of where they're filled in with a completely different color and it does not look professional or others that were edited weird. For $200 and the peacock chair I honestly would have expected better for professional photos. I also did not like that you only get about 30 edited pictures to choose from. I would prefer to see the 100+ raw photos we took and then choose which ones I want to be edited, you would also probably sell more that way. Most of the other photographers I have worked with do it this way." Instead of apologizing and offering to fix the photos she blocked me. This is not someone I would recommend doing business with. Be careful of this company there are multiple bad reviews in local fb groups that have had bad experiences.
