Chris Whelan represented me and I felt underrepresented and under prioritized. My case was a joke.read more

I was represented by another firm for my divorce. The only thing that my attorney knew how to do…read morewas send bills. I paid a small fortune for nothing. Every time I called I had to explain who I was and what I was being represented for. After 6 months of working with me this guy couldn't remember how many kids I had, and most of the representation was about custody.  I was losing my kids and my lawyer was not doing anything to stop it. There was no strategy, there was no guidance, there was no help. I went to Paul Morrison with a few questions because I was not happy with my current representation. I got more meaningful legal advice in 30 minutes from Paul than I had in 10 months from my attorney. Paul took the time to listen to the facts of my case and developed a strategy for a fair and reasonable outcome that will save me money in legal fees. Paul's knowledge and experience helped to give me peace of mind as my divorce worked moved towards a resolution.    Amy Totten followed up with me a few days after I had spoken with Paul. Amy's sound advice complemented Paul's strategy and included additional guidance on points that I had not discussed with Paul. Amy and Paul both gave me guidance that I could rely on. I knew what to expect going forward and there was no sales pitch about how they could get me everything at trial. After working with two other attorneys on this matter, I have learned the hard way the value of an attorney who can be honest about the outcome and fair on how to get there. What impressed me most was the ability of the attorneys at this firm to work together to provide me with complete and ongoing legal guidance

Please be careful when choosing to mediate your divorce in general but especially with Phil…read moreMulford. We spent more than a year in the mediation process with Mulford Mediation-not to mention thousands of dollars, only to come out of the process with NOTHING! Mr. Mulford should have respectfully dismissed us of his services when he saw that we were not moving forward with the mediation. There were countless red flags that should have alerted Mr. Mulford that our situation was not suited for the mediation process. For example, my ex blatantly reneged on a verbal agreement made in mediation and Mr. Mulford did nothing. Instead, he allowed the process to drag out causing emotional and financial set-backs. In addition, Mr. Mulford never filed any of our agreements, made along the way, with the court. In the end, we each had to hire a lawyer and start the process all over. Mediation is a great thing if you have the situation and mediator to facilitate it effectively. Unfortunately, Mr. Mulford's handling of our case was unethical at best.
