All the staff is very helpful and pleasant…read more I would have given more stars. We had a few things that I felt were not handled as well as they could have been during the release process. They want to get you out quick. Which I understand they need beds. However I would have appreciated not having to go to the ER 15 minutes after getting home. This hospital is 40 minutes from my home. We opted to go to an ER closer to us. They alleviated. the problem. This could have been avoided if they just waited a couple hours before releasing a patient after putting in a catheter to see if it would be okay. My husband was released from AnMed within an hour of the catheter being put back in. No meds were given or called into our pharmacy. The ER gave him meds and I had to call the Doctor on call to get another prescription. I understand this is not the hospital's fault on the meds. Had I been able to speak to someone upon my husband being released, some of the frustration could have been avoided.

PRISMA here we come. Follow-up to original post: the hospital tagged the procedure as "completed" which presumes will trigger the billing office to charge insurance for a procedure that was never done.
