It was a friend of my mine who recommended this shop as he had used it and knew the owner. I really like to support independent local traders but our 2 purchasing experiences made us wish we had bought elsewhere. We bought a uppababy vista stroller and rumble seat and in both instances there was big delays in getting the items. So much so that both our babies were born a couple of weeks before we got delivery despite purchasing months before. We had to do all the chasing and had lots of failed promises and disappointment at a time when we least needed it. A colleague had similar problems with the same pram and shop. The owners seem to have no control over their supply chain for these products, which is a big worry for a small business like this to compete with online and larger outfits.
When they did arrive eventually, they were delivered to the house and while we appreciated this it was all a bit too little too late. It's a real shame but I could not recommend ankle biters to anyone. read more
