First time I've written a review so you know I'm not happy. Hired this painter to paint the entire inside of a house I bought before I moved in, including all trim, repair nail pops/drywall, and caulk. At completion the work seemed fine when inspected, but after moving in I discovered a lot of issues. They did not paint the top of any of the trim on the doors or windows, the part that is above eye level where dust collects. Also did not paint the top of any doors. Did NOT repair nail pops correctly, just covered them up with drywall compound to "hide" them and even missed half a dozen nail pops altogether. Trim painting is horrific! They obviously used a roller on whatever they could and it looks terrible. There is also missing paint, thin paint, trash in paint, drips and globs. They used a paint roller on the flat sections of the interior doors that left a pebbled appearance, while using a brush on the panel details. Only a brush should have been used! In the bathrooms they only did one coat of paint where the walls and ceilings meet, corners, around the windows and doors, and shower area (the cut in areas). You can see the white base coat through the colored paint. The wall paint in the whole house also has trash in it, drips, paint lines, and is border line acceptable but only due to the light paint color I selected. When I showed all of this to the painter he said he would fix everything, to be sure I was happy, but the work should have been done right the first time. The house was empty when he and his workers did the work, now the movers have delivered all my furniture. I am not giving this painter a second chance! Frustrating thing is that I know how to paint but my hands hurt too much now to do the work myself. It will be a huge inconvenience, and additional expense, but I will hire a painter that pays attention to detail and takes pride in his work. read more
