I was first given soy candles as a gift from this company. These soy candles are lovely. They are long burning and have a strong, inviting fragrance that permeates. I am now ordering for myself. The owner, Dolores, educated me on the value of soy and how to extinguish them correctly. They burn around 80 hours per candle, I believe. She has moved to another location and I am still buying from her. She is very honest and cares deeply about her candles and her customers. I highly recommend supporting this solopreneur business. read more

i bought a soy candle from Mercedes on Mothers Day. I myself have made candles, and do appreciate the work and time put into SOY candle making . I love my candle! It burns for a long long time and smells so pretty! I used to buy candles every week because thats how much i burn candles! Now i will buy from Mercedes and save myself some time and gas money! ;) read more

Greetings. My name is Mercedes. Being a single mother I had explored many different ways to supplement my income while raising my family alone. Around 2008 a dear friend taught me how to make soy candles. I was fascinated with the fact that soy candles do not emit carcinogens like petroleum-based candles do. As I improved my craft, I fell in love with the process as well as the product. This passion has brought my hobby to the next level. I am proud to say that each of my candles is made of 100% hand-poured soy wax. As I make these candles in my home, the variety of fragrances that fill the air brings a sense of comfort, peace and joy. The unique variety of scents will enhance the mood of any occasion. There are over 50 wonderful fragrances available to purchase on this website.
