Specialties
Angel Website Designs specialises in the design and development of websites ranging in size from simple 1-5 page sites for individuals and businesses, to large scale websites containing hundreds of webpages.
Websites are built the the clients' specific needs and requirements, whether those needs be for a small informational site to promote the clients' services or get their message across on the Internet, or for large businesses, companies and organisations who have a lot of information to share with their users, or have a large number of products to sell via an eCommerce online store.
We work closely with each client and whatever the requirements our goal is to provide each client with a website they will be fully satisfied with at a price that is competitive yet affordable.
We can also provide Domain Name Registration and Website Hosting Services for our clients when required, at very competitive rates.
History
Established in 2008.
With over 30 years experience in IT and computer systems, certain career paths led to the involvement with a property management company in the UK and then a property management company in Budapest, Hungary.
Both these companies required websites and while the UK company closed several years ago, the Budapest company was sold on and is still going strong.
After the closing of the UK company a decision was made to monopolise on the experiences gained and to build a business purely focused on web site design and development, hence the formation of Angel Website Designs.
For a handful of clients Angel Website Designs has been retained as their WebMaster, actively supporting those clients' websites and providing ongoing development and optimisations for those websites.
Domain Name Registration and Website Hosting Services are a new and exciting facility recently incorporated into our list of web and Internet services.
Meet the Business Owner: Steve P.
Steve has 'tinkered with' and then worked with computers since childhood, when the Sinclair ZX80/1, Commodore 64 and BBC computers were all the rage.
It was very rare that any of the programmes in the magazines for these early personal computers ever worked, so he would spend hours with his friends trying to work out what was wrong and then fix them. Often the problem was down to typo's and other times it was down to faulty logic in the code.
Through having an early attitude of never giving up, he found he developed a 'knack' with computers and programming, which led him into computer-based streams at school and then college.
Numerous programming languages were learnt along the way, from early low-level languages upto many high-level languages. This background helped Steve to very easily transition across to the popular web development languages of PHP and JavaScript, and other related scripting technologies and tools, including databases (eg. MySQL), xHTML, XML and CSS.
