They did their best to accomodate everyone with fans as it was very hot in the salon as it was a hot day. They do have a loyalty card available. Lastly, very good quality. I can understand the need to do this, but I saw over usage of this. My nail polish didn't even last one day before parts of it started chipping (on 3 nails). Very poor outcome despite them marketing they use Opi and Essie (but it it keeps getting "watered down" - is it really top notch nail polish anymore?) - VARIOUS PEOPLE WORKING ON YOU. My pedicure was great, it was done by a nice woman. And they have "US style" chairs for pedicures with a massage machine. Then they "passed me off" to a guy. I have had guys in the U.S. that gave me superior service but I felt they passed me off to this guy bc I wouldn't notice any better. Well they guessed wrong. He was ok but my nails look like they need a few more coatings and that's when I realized the nail polish was prob "thinned down". When they saw that I over analyzed my nails, a girl immediately stepped in to "finish off". That finish was what saved this place from getting TWO STARS from me. - You dry normal polish nails under UV light. hmmmm. Really bad for your hands. I have never seen this inappropriate treatment before. Any pro knows you only dry gel nails under UV light. There are a few things like this place that are "so not US style". - No access to bathroom... But the prices here are on the lower end so you get what you pay for. Overall I like this place but would only come back for the pedicure and if they didn't give me this guy again and I bring my own nail polish as the quality of that is reliable. I had never gotten a beauty service done in Zurich, which is partly to blame on the cost of things, but mostly to blame on my hesitancy speaking German in new situations. But, I was going to Italy and dag-nabbit, my nails needed to look pretty. I picked Salon de Beauté based on a random internet review and the straightforward website - have to start somewhere, right? I made an appointment (auf Deutsch) through the contact form on the website and got an appointment for a pedicure and eyebrow cleanup for a few days in the future. My appointment was with Lucia, the owner of the salon. She is Czech but has lived in Zurich for a long time. She speaks a little bit of English, and we got along fine in a mix of German and English. The set-up for the pedicure was a bit different than what I am used to. In the US, I usually get a pedicure while sitting in a chair, perhaps in a row with many others. Here, because Lucia is the main (and only?) practitioner and because she does a number of other services, pedicures are performed at the end of a bed (like you might lie on when getting an eyebrow wax). I have to say that this was the most thorough pedicure I've ever received - my feet were like a baby's bottom afterwards and the red polish I picked lasted a long time without chipping. The eyebrow plucking was also very well-done. She also does facials, other waxing, manicures, and massages. Overall, highly recommended for her service and the prices were quite acceptable.

I showed her the picture of my eyebrow I used to get waxed, she seems to understood however it ended up so different (thicker and shorter eyebrow) + plus she waxed too much of my eyebrow off at the inner side of eyebrow making it so different from the other side I did not ask them to fix it bec they already waxed it off, no point fixing it but wait for it to grow back.
