**Let's break this down**
1. They seem to be all about…read moretithes (once you become a member you're locked into a contract saying you'll ·give 10% of your income, you'll ·give generously during the legacy offering, & you'll ·volunteer for one of their in house serve teams. They apparently have hundreds of volunteers & need more!) Not only do they insist on your tithes they have no transparency with the allocation of those funds. (Scripturally speaking, tithing is only a requirement in the Old Testament to go to the Levites. It is not a New Testament requirement, & it is not required to go to a church.)
2. Everything seems scripted from the pre sermon banter & the mid worship music prayers-to their starting point & conversations you have with leaders. Even the responses to Google reviews appear to be a FITB scripted reply. They choose your seat for you & refuse to seat you if others with you aren't currently in the sanctuary to avoid having the appearance of empty seats. Is this all so their visuals are appealing on their live streams and photos?
3. The pastor doesn't meet with people, instead he directes you to leadership members. If the pastor cannot speak with his congregation why is he a pastor & who exactly is he pastoring?
4. Their membership is deceitfully called a covenant insisting it's not a contract, but it's a legally binding contract - read the words above the electronic signature line.
5. The love bombing starts as you enter the parking lot and continues until you are seated. They gaslight you regarding the legality of their membership & when you ask questions they stonewall you refusing any real answers.
6. Let's talk coffee. They charge $3.95 for a SMALL drink but everyone that 'works' there is unpaid. More inhouse income? At least coffee shops charging similar prices pay employees.
7. During a message about the legacy offering they state several events were covered IN FULL by the generous offering. The annual legacy offering (this is in addition to tithes) raked in $806,000! One of the things they said was covered in full was their serge conference, yet tickets for this conference were $50 each! That's confusing, maybe willfully decietful?
8. They do have a decent sermon, but it's not entirely scriptural (go home, study your bible, It'll become obvious). Everything ties back to growing 'their'church & making sure you tithe (study NT scriptures, it does instruct us to give but not out of compulsion/guilt/provisions which is how this church operates).
9. Speaking of growing their church. You aren't allowed (yep, they stop you) to leave their sanctuary until they say the phrase "don't forget to bring a friend". This actually breaks the law by restricting freedom of movement. You become a hostage in their sanctuary until dismissed.
10. Let's not forget the sermon from March 16, 2025 (it's been deleted from social media, I attached a screen recording on this Church's photos above) where the operations director preached a story about praying for God's provisions life. You can't pray for that if you're not tithing apparently. Again, is that really what scripture says?
**UPDATE MARCH 26, 2025**
I would have posted this directly on the Facebook post but when comments are left on their posts showing how this church adulterates scripture the entire post gets deleted.
11. NINE DAYS after their Dillon's March 16 sermon this church has decided to ordain him.
(Keep these in mind.
-NT provisions separate of tithing: The Woman Who Touched the Hem of Jesus' Garment-Mark 5:21-34. Peter's Mother In-Law-Luke 4:38-40. Jesus Heals the Blind Man-Mark 10:46-52. Curing Every Disease-Matthew 9:35. Crippled Man Walks-Mark 2:9-12. Lepers Are Healed-Luke 17:12-16. Jesus casting out demons-Matthew 8:16, Mark 1:21-28, and Luke 11:14-26.
-OT provisions separate of tithing: Miriam & Moses -Numbers 12:13-15. Elijah & the Widow's Son -1 Kings 17:20-22. Elisha and Naaman -2 Kings 5:13-14.
-OT & NT promises separate of tithing:
Deuteronomy 31:6, 1 John 4:9-10, 2 Thessalonians 3:3, Isaiah 40:31, Matthew 6:31-33, Psalm 32:8, Exodus 14:14, John 15:7, Numbers 23:19, John 14:27)
I would be asking "Where did 'pastor Dillon' & pastor Jason (& their ordained wives) go to seminary school? Do they have a formal education in the Bible? What's the requirement to be a pastor here?" It seems they don't even require basic knowledge of scripture. Based on the clip from his March 16 sermon it's obvious 'pastor Dillon' doesn't have a clear understanding of scripture.
Personally, I think coast life is a beautifully & meticulously well organized 'business' scamming the people of Venice. I don't believe they preach the true Word of God, just their version that fulfills the purpose of growing their business. Remember, a truth sprinkled with a lie is still a lie.
