Walked right up and we're curious about their bowls made of frozen greens - graviota? - so they have us a sample. It was actually really good! We were there for açaí and yogurt though so stayed with that. One order was their nutty bowl with blueberries rather than strawberries. My dining partner sampled a few yogurt flavors and came away with vanilla, something tart, and raspberry. She tossed some mango and mochi balls on top and called it delicious. The açaí bowl had an entire banana on it and tons of blueberries. We enjoyed our treats there, ate it all. We'll stop in again!

The blenders here are small and not professional grade making the whole experience slow, loud and not tasty. We went with two cocoa protein smoothies and it took a bit longer than expected. The smoothies are made with frozen fruit (bananas in this case) and what we ultimately ended up with were flavorless whipped ice. We ultimately needed spoons. I did somewhat complain and she was nice enough to discount the smoothies a few bucks, but they just weren't good. Maybe the juices are a better option? Or maybe only making one smoothie at a time would have been a better option? Not quite sure where the problem lays, but I wouldn't return for a smoothie again.

The girl working the counter was super nice. I ordered my smoothie. She put all the ingredients in the blender. The blender sounded like a damn wood chipper. It almost blew out my eardrums. After a few minutes, she took the top off, and started going to town, Norman Bates style, on my smoothie with a spoon. Clearly, it wasn't working. She went back to blend mode. Then back to Bates, then blend, then Bates. After a while, the girl, still super polite, handed me my smoothie. It was more a cup of a solid, ice cream substance, than a smoothie. It was decent, but not a smoothie.

My cousin ordered right after me and gave her name, Noelle. When our smoothies were ready, an employee called out "Mulan." We were both confused because that wasn't the name either of us had given. When I asked which smoothies they were calling, they said it was my cousin's order and showed us the ticket. What caught my attention was that the ticket itself said "Mulan" instead of Noelle. In the moment, I figured maybe the employee with red hair had misheard her, so I didn't say anything. But the more I thought about it afterward, the less sense it made. Noelle is a pretty straightforward name, and somehow it ended up being replaced with the name of a famous Asian Disney character. I don't know what the employee's intentions were, and I'm not trying to make assumptions. At the time I was honestly more confused than offended. Looking back, though, it felt inappropriate and left both of us uncomfortable. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and makes sure employees are using the names customers actually provide.
