If you need anything repaired, try anywhere except Andy's small engine repair. I'd say this place is a joke, but there is absolutely nothing funny about being told your push mower and chainsaw will be ready in 7-10 days, and it isn't ready for over a month. Customer service is non-existent. Bookkeeping??? I believe his name is Goober. We dropped off our mower and chainsaw during the last week of September and were told 7-10 days. After 14 days, my husband called and was told they hadn't had time to work on either yet because they were just so busy. The entire month of October went by with Andy's having our mower and our chainsaw, and it wasn't fixed until 6 November. That's not only NOT done in a timely manner at all, it was extremely dishonest business practice to tell a customer that they could expect it to be. I'll never recommend them to anyone, and I hope if you read this you'll be wise and find somewhere else to fix whatever is broken. They charge a lot of money to make you very frustrated. read more

Dropped mower off 3 Days before Thanksgiving. Only needed a cable. Called 2x a week. Same answer. Cable not come yet. I go On Craftsman web site said cable take 2-3days. Please don't go there. Older man and women have no clue. Never answer the phone. Horrible service. read more

I took my 23hp 46in cut Husquvarna 0 turn rider to Andy's for service. He charged $75 labor and put new blades, new air filter, new oil filter, repaired flat tire, level deck changed 4 plugs and tuned up mower all for $181!! I dropped a string trimmer there and he told me 2-3 weeks. I waited 3 weeks and would have called but number google has for them didn't work, so I came in to pick up trimmer. They told me it wasn't done and they might be done that day. I asked him for trimmer back and left. Maybe I ought to thank them as I ended up get a new trimmer that was nicer. By the way I read the comments after I dropped my trimmer off but before I picked my trimmer up and I'm glad I did. I probably would have left it there and a lot of the comments said there equipment wasn't fixed til much later if ever. read more

It's been a week since I dropped off 4 lawnmower tires to be changed out. I was advised that it may be a day or two, so I didn't come back to check on them until that Friday, they were dropped off on Tuesday. It's now Tuesday the following week and the tires haven't moved from where I placed them when I dropped them off. I don't see how swapping tires could take this long? I would do it myself if I had the equipment and probably could have had them done myself even without the equipment. read more

I would give them a -5 if the ratings went that low. absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!. My story: bought a pressure washer at lowes. troy built brand. used it for 3 months and BAM! it locks up for no good reason. I always made sure there was oil in it etc. checked my receipt from lowes and its just over the 3 month return policy which means I now must go to the "briggs and Stratton authorized repair service" which unfortunately turns out to be andys small engine. ( I think Daves on the bypass might be an authorized briggs repair center too. if so PLEASE do yourself a favor and go there.) So I ask the guy on the phone how long do you think it will take? he says" about ten days". this is about the 2nd week of September. ten days go by, no word. two weeks go by I decide to call. guy says I only work part time so I dont know youll have to call back tomorrow. I call back. the boss says the factory rep will have to decide if the entire pressure washer will be replaced or repaired. I wait another 2 weeks. I call andys. he says the factory rep has not decided yet. another week goes by. I call them. the boss says that the rep says it is repairable and they need to order a part. its the pump. another week goes by I call pump not in yet . another week. I call. yep I think the part is in yep here it is. we should have you done by wed tops. another week goes by. I call today (tues). the guy has the nerve to tell me hes been workin on heaters etc and hasn't got to it yet. "I think maybe I can get to it today" Im going in tomorrow on my way home from work. so we'll see. they just flat DO NOT CARE. their factory authorized repair center status should be revoked by Briggs. Trouble is, now, two months later its 32 degrees and freezing outside and all the projects I needed that washer for will not get done. it is now November 14 and still no washer. if you plan on actually using your lawn and garden equipment, NEVER EVER I REPEAT NEVER go to this sorry excuse for a workshop! It is truly sad that some folks have no pride in their work, pride in their business, and have no clue what customer service means. all this over a lousy pump that literally takes about 20 min tops to install. four bolts, I think. HORRIBLE. Dropped off push mower and weed eater May 2018. Made 4 trips over 5 months to pick my stuff up. Kept giving me the runaround about wrong parts ordered, etc. Finally after grass cutting season was over Oct 2018 I told them I was taking my stuff and tired of their excuses. They told me it would be ready the end of the week. When I went to pick my stuff up, they let me know the weed eater was ready, but the push mower needed 1 more part. I can't make this stuff up. Charged me $80 for parts and no labor. Oh thanks Andy. 5 months and still a broke push mower. Worthless business with 0 customer service. Already dipped snuff sitting about the front counter with spit bottles everywhere. Do Not Waste Your time or money here. Place should be closed down for fraud!!! read more

I hesitate to give even 1 star. These guys really are about the worst customer service I have ever had. What is really interesting is they don't like Military & they are very condescending to women. Whew! Hard to believe these cromagnon men exist in 2014. They really suck. Take your mower anywhere but here. Took an extra 14 days to get mine fixed, beyond the 4 days they initially said they could deliver within. VERY POOR. read more
