and it was difficult to find a clinic that was open with this being the first that actually answered. when i arrived for my appt. a sleepy looking man at the desk asked me to fill out an intake form, and then when i handed it in, revealed that he was my therapist 'Doug'.
afterwards he DID NOT look at my intake form and walked me into the examination room.
there he looked at my back for several seconds. he did not examine my posture, my walk, my spine. afterwards he began the manual work to treat what he referred to as a "block" consisting of mostly strange pinches, that barely went into my tissue. very superficial. reiki might have been as effective. he at some point pulled my shoulder from my hip and that seemed like the most anatomically effective move but after doing that once the session was over.
he then told me to come back next week once i was feeling better. the entire process lasted not more than 20 minutes. the shortest least interested and least detailed exam ever, with zero incentive for me to return. i'm pretty convinced he was only interested in making money on the private rate since i didn't have a referral.
perhaps there are more capable physicians here but i didn't encounter them, left in pain, and would never return.
