It just might change your life. Here is my story: In 2018, my mother, who lives alone, had a stroke. In addition; I attended seven funerals, two of my mother's dogs passed away, my 20 year old car, which I adored "died" and my beloved husband, was diagnosed with thyroid cancer. 2019 was filled with my husband having surgery to remove his thyroid and many tests, doctor's appointments for him and for my mother. 2019 also brought me the diagnosis of focal intestinal metaplasia. A condition brought on by acid reflux and left untreated could become cancerous. I was advised by my doctor to start taking a daily medication. Needless to say, by Fall of 2019 I was exhausted physically, emotionally and felt dead inside. Sure, I would still put on a happy face when family and friends were around but it was all an act. I never realized what a good actress I could be. In December 2019, I knew I needed to start healing inside. Not just fix the acid reflux; I also wanted to feel joyful again without having to put on an "act". I didn't know where to start or how to begin. I prayed on it. Shortly thereafter, I saw Anna's office after leaving the Home Depot in Schererville. I called and made an appointment within a week. Upon arriving for my first appointment, I was very apprehensive and somewhat skeptical. But, hey, I was at rock bottom, what did I have to lose? From the moment I first met Anna, I felt at ease. I explained to her the events that led me to see her. She responded with kindness and empathy. We spoke for over two hours and she shared a wealth of information with me...nutrition, herbal medicine, vitamin supplements, etc. I took many notes and never did I feel pressure to buy or do anything. Very quickly I realized Anna truly wants to help people...she is not in it for the money! Which by the way, her office visits are extremely reasonably priced! I left my first visit after seeing Anna with suggestions to tweak a few things in my diet and to start taking recommended vitamin supplements and a herbal medicine. At first, I was overwhelmed with the regimen for the vitamin supplements and herbal medicine. But I didn't give up! Each day it became easier to remember what to take and when to take it. After six weeks, I had my follow up visit in January 2020 and I already felt an improvement. After talking with Anna and answering a questionnaire, she recommended slight changes in the vitamin supplements and herbal medicine. I was feeling so much better that I choose on my own to stop taking the medication for my acid reflux. My next follow up visit with Anna was cancelled due to Covid-19. However, Anna called me and asked me to call her or email her with any questions or concerns I might have. I did send Anna an email once or twice during the pandemic and she was quick to reply with an answer. I was able to see Anna is Sept. for a follow up visit and I had my most recent visit with Anna in December 2020...almost one year to the day I first walked into her office. It is more of a pumping and gentle pushing motion. This technique has a purpose which is to get your lymph nodes to drain. You are almost lulled into a slumber lying on the heated table. There is relaxing music playing, there are breath exercises to do and the room itself has a special ambient feel. After my hour was up, I was totally in a relaxed state and felt a sense of calm. It would have been nice to just lie there and take a nap. Of course, duty calls. My experience almost thirty minutes later included itching all over my body. I also noticed that my stomach went down; no longer bloated.
