The support and the family that I had needed all along, I found at this school. All the things that over the years would keep me out of school, they helped me with and made a way for me. The biggest thing is that I did not believe in myself until SACA. This school was a game changer for me and for my friends. The teachers didn't let us fall through the cracks. They really cared and they would pick me up every time and help me to know that I had a purpose and that I could do anything that I set my mind to. I don't know what would have happened to me if I didn't find this school. Fast forward to now. I have a great job and my own family. I ended up going to pima and then the u of A on scholarships which was only possible because of what I learned and who I became at SACA. Now my husband and I cannot wait for our daughter to be old enough to go to SACA too. Thank you for helping me, SACA teachers and to all of the administration. This school means a lot to me

This school is known to discriminate against students, especially their special education students and families. The staff is poorly trained and they're constantly trying to replace teachers who either quit or get fired. Their test scores are abysmal and sadly, they don't prioritize students. It's a negative, mean and cruel environment for kids to spend years in. Avoid at all costs.

Often leaves early avoids confrontation by hiding or delegating then taking responsibility. The admin staff is filled with nepotism and cliques that talk behind parents backs whenever an issue with a student comes up. The after school Kid co. Is a mess. Students left unattended and unsupervised often. The only good thing about this school is the teachers and even they are leaving in mass.

Doolen Middle School students and surrounding neighbors started a community garden about two months…read moreago and it's already yielding some lovely edibles. (Pics on the way). A great way for kids to learn about where food comes and all the hard work that goes into getting food to the table. Plus we get lots of fresh air.
