Anyways, I wouldn't usually write a review for a package store but compared to the competition right down the road in both directions they are $1 to $1.75 cheaper for a 12 pack of beer. Why would you not stop in here if you are in the area. The staff is always helpful as well.

They also had "State Minimum" price signs, but then I found the same thing for less down the street at M&R (which I went to immediately afterwards in search of a particular scotch). Maybe that sign doesn't mean what I always assumed it did? The people working were very nice, and there's plenty of off street parking. Not sure what else to talk about... They don't sell "singles".

Sure, it's a small store and has a more limited selection than some of the monster stores in the area, but sometimes that's what I prefer. I don't have to wander aisle after aisle, scanning shelves for what I want; and I don't have to spend half a lifetime trying to decide between a hundred different bottles of Riesling. They have all the staples, and there's usually a good selection of new / showcased wines at the front of the store, which they change out pretty regularly. Vernon Circle is my go-to place when I need to stock up on essentials without any highfalutin hassle.
