I had an emergency appointment 3 weeks ago with Dr.Kim. I've been having abdominal pain and when i was the office I explained i was 2 months late i also explained i had cysts before, she told me there was nothing she could do to find out what was causing the pain, refused to send me for a sonogram or any labs, i had to lie to get at least STD test done. I have been calling every day for weeks and the answering service can never help, the answering machine always says they're closed and to call back during business hours even though it's always business hrs. 3 weeks later and no results yet. However I did get the bill for the services. Oh and when i went to my PCP they did labs and turns out im pregnant. This practice sucks. And Dr. Kim just a waste of money read more

I had the worst experience with this practice. At first I was seen by Dr Davidson who was very calm and professional. When I got pregnant they started rotating me between doctors and nurses. On my 36 week, my water broke. I was admitted to Laurence general hospital. I was left in the labor room from 7pm till the next day 6pm where nurses were doing different things without even looking at my chart and until the heart beat of my baby got so high. They took me to the operation room for an emergency csection. By that time, they had to remove my epiderol and inject me with anesthesia. Sarah finch was the one leading the surgery. The baby was removed safely and I was moved to the recovery room. Almost two hours later I had a severe internal bleeding where biohazards boxes were filled with my blood. My color turned gray and my fever was up the sky along with a 170 heartbeat rate. My husband was screaming to call the OB so she can come back from her house. She said they wana remove my uterus. And they took me back to the operation room, I stayed more than four hours. She came out and informed my husband that I was lucky and they didn't remove my uterus. They had no valid justification for what happened. I lost almost 90% of my blood, I was moved to the ICU and had blood transfusions. I was after moved to tufts because none of the doctors at this practice tried to take care properly of me especially the doctor who was on duty Polysnki. To cut the story short, till now I dono what happened at the OR as the report received was changed and dictated 8 days after my operation, I'm so anemic and weak, I lost my milk and I was so close to death. Couldn't feed my daughter or hold her for the first time. Most importantly I lost the moment that we as women wait to hold our first baby and enjoy her. Don't go to that practice. They are unprofessional, rude, no follow up, they don't care at all. They just send you bills for their malpractice. If you as Andover OB always have the same problem while delivering women, you should go and look back into the doctors you hired!!! It's not us who have a medical problem, it's YOU because you are hiring unprofessional and incapable doctors. read more

Awful! Front desk is always so rude. Second, it takes the doctor like an hour to get into the room after your appointment time. My last appointment was my Last straw. I went in for my regular check up while I was 22 weeks pregnant. The front desk told me I was repeating my 18 week ultrasound. I asked the front desk, the nurse, and doctor why am I repeating my ultra sound. Everyone gave me a different answer. Finally they repeated it and the doctor told me there was something wrong with the babies heart and might have down syndrome. With all that said and crying, the doctor patted me on the shoulder. How sympathetic, right ? They told me I would need to go to Boston. After being upset for 2 to 3 days they called me telling me they sent my ultrasound to Boston and Boston didint not find anything wrong. So how did Andover OB think this and why ? I ended up getting a second opinion in Boston. Thank God every thing was fine. How does someone get this huge mistake Wrong !! I ended up switching my doctors office. I told them what happened and they told me that should have never of happened. Switch your doctor ! Andover is terrible. I am so much happier here and everyone is so pleasant. read more

I had the worst experience i could not have imagined, but then again the medical practice is going down hill from the Dr's who don't feel for their patients and cannot get them out of the office quick enough! I was a 1 appointment patient who has many medical issues, past present and future. Alot is neurological along with PTSD, Fiber Neuropathy and multiple other issues. As soon as Dr. KIM entered the room, I asked her to please be patient with me as I have a very difficult time carrying on a conversation without loosing focus and forgetting what I am trying to say.She began questioning me regarding past surgeries which took me a little time to remember due to being so many. Before I had a chance to remember she began asking dates not really giving me time to think! As for the reason I was there, someone had mentioned to me to ask the DR. about a script that is really working for her so I did, her response was she didn't think I had the issue I thought and that there are many scripts out there that might work for me, named them off and continued to ask me which one I wanted to try!!!!!! I in turn responded I don't know, aren't you the dr. and supposed to tell me? Needless to say, I left that appt. and never went back!!! read more

While I like the doctors and nurses I have seen at Andover OB/GYN, I have to warn that the office seems to be poorly run. Every time I have had an appointment I have shown up on time, usually 5 minutes early actually, but the office typically runs 30 minutes or more behind. They do not apologize for their tardiness despite the fact that they are taking time out of my day. And this hasn't just happened once, it's consistent every time I go to an appointment. Just seems very rude to keep your paying patients waiting. Someone needs to adjust their scheduling. Update: I had a 1:00 pm appointment today, I arrived at 12:50 to allow for time to check in. When I arrived the office was closed for lunch. At 1:00, the office reopened and I checked in. I was taken to an exam room at 1:15. At 1:40, I was still waiting in the exam room for the doctor. I walked out to a nurse to remind them I was there and to see how much longer I would be kept waiting. I was told the doctor would be with me momentarily and told I should wait in the exam room. A few minutes later, the office manager came in to inform me that the doctor was not at the office, she was at a meeting and seeing patients at the hospital but she really needed to see me today so I should wait. I expressed my frustration to the office manager and said I would wait no more than 10 more minutes. Finally the doctor showed up at 1:55, almost an hour late! I am a wife, a mom and an attorney, I have far more better things to be doing than wasting my day waiting around for selfish doctors. I will never go back and I will strongly suggest to friends and family that they never go to this office. read more

I went to Andover OBGYN for my first pregnancy because they took my crappy insurance at the time. They were the worst. They were very unprofessional and not enough people in the Andover office. I went in early cause I had brown discharge. They moved up my appointment because of the issue and had me get my hormone and progesterone levels. I went in and they made me do an hour appointment of my history. The nurse practitioner pushed me to do genetic testing, I signed the paper work. I wasn't aware the testing would be the next day.They told me in the same meeting I may have a miscarriage. Who does genetic testing if they think your having a miscarriage. I almost had to pay 600 dollars for it but fought my insurance with an appeal. They also wanted me to pick a hospital my first meeting even though I may have been losing the baby. The second ultrasound was to confirm there was no heartbeat and I arrived early cause I was stressing about it. I wanted to know. The people in the office made fun of me for being an hour early and they took me late. I found out I lost the baby.They tried to give me drugs to have it leave my body. I took it nothing happened so I called them the next day and they had me take it again. Still nothing happened other than stomach problems. They could have prescribed me to take it internally, but never did. On my way to been seen at the hospital they booked my D&C while i was in the car. The people in the other office didn't know I was even coming. They booked the surgery for me with no other option. By the way you pay about 3,000 dollars for that surgery. I went to get prep work done. I had surgery the next morning. They asked me to be there at 7 for a 9 o'clock surgery and they were late for that. The surgeon was good. I had a follow up with her two weeks later and it was pointless. She told me to wait one cycle to get pregnant and that was it. A huge waste of time and I drove 45 mins. They didn't even ask how I was doing mentally. Never ever go there. read more
