My kids both went to Just Kidz until it was time for them to go to kindergarten and I will be forever grateful for the staff there. They learned so much at this preschool that prepared them so well for moving on to school and it was not just the simple things but educational things also that I know for a fact, I did not get around to teaching them. The teachers there took EXCELLENT care of them, we as parents were kept in the loop with everything that was going on with them. They absolutely loved it there and even to this day ( they are now 6 and 9 ) are still asking when are they going back. The Summer program is also an added bonus. Whippany KinderCare has turned out to be one of the biggest blessings for our family for so many reasons. One of the things we are so impressed by and pleased with is how much the director (Chelsea) and assistant director (Leah) are involved with all the kids. If we ever have a question, they always are aware of how our daughter is doing because they keep tabs with her teacher on the regular and can answer anything with confidence. Seeing how our daughter was progressing, it was suggested that we move her up a class. We were a little nervous to do this six weeks early but with their support and after being offered to do a trial day, to our surprise everything went amazingly well! Our daughter is learning so much and we already see such an improvement in her language development (both sign and vocal) and other skills like how to use utensils and not throw food at the table. It truly is such a joy to see how much she is growing here. As a parent, you obviously want nothing but the best care for your kid and we have no doubt we made the right decision with Whippany KinderCare. Especially during the pandemic, knowing that the center has been taking every reasonable precaution (temperature checks at the door, constant sanitizing of the school, the use of masks for teachers and children, no outside toys, etc.) further gives us peace of mind that our daughter is in safe hands. Back in November, I toured three local daycare facilities in Mount Olive, New Jersey, the town in which I live. The moment I stepped into the Bright Horizons facility, I knew this was a place I could trust with my unborn son at the time. It was evident that cleanliness was a top priority for the center even before the recent pandemic. To be honest, this was how I chose Bright Horizons over the other two centers I looked at in the area. During my tour, they even gave me questions I should ask other centers. I appreciated that, given this was my first time choosing a day care. When the time came to for me to go back to work, of course as a mother and a teacher myself, I was afraid of the unknown; however, thinking back to November I felt a sense of comfort knowing such a high standard was already put in place. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances, the Mount Olive facility was delayed in opening due to facility maintenance issues. Director Jen was transparent and supportive during this time to ensure come September, my son would have a safe school to attend. My husband and I made the decision to send our son to the Rockaway facility while we are waiting for the Mount Olive Center to reopen. Jen made sure to personally call me to check in with updates on the center's reopening status, when she could have just easily emailed me. She truly cares for the families. I highly recommend and trust Bright Horizons.

It's not the sterile environment I saw in many other preschools. The kids all seem happy and content, that's a biggie. The owner, though I only met her once, was very caring, accommodating and capable. The teachers and assistants my little charge had were wonderful. Mrs R. especially. They thought the basics with love and a firm hand when needed. I particularly liked the gentle emphasis they put on respect and obedience. I also did not notice any favoritism on the part of any teachers, not an easy thing to do in this line of work. There were lots of extracurricular activities and field trips, holiday parties etc...where parent participating was encouraged, and indeed many of the parents got to know each other well. On the whole it really felt like an extended family. I wish I could have sent my kids here , 20 yrs ago, but I couldn't even get on the waiting list, they had no room! This place has been around a very long time, and always had a great reputation. I really feel it's the next best thing to home!
