This was my first time here but two people who don't know each other recommended this spot. I'm a social butterfly so while I waited I talked to a few people there and all of them said it's worth the wait. They have a good system where you get seen twice, the first time gets all your documents in order, the second is with Sonia who does the taxes. I've been married for over 10 years, I have 3 kids and I own a home. The last 5 years I either owned or got lucky and was even-Steven. Now only did I get a return but I was given good advice on how to prepare for next year. Needless to say I will be back next year. P.S. they do other legal things too.

When she told me how much I was owing she did not try to brainstorm with me to see if there was anything else that would help me, made me feel like she already received her $400 payment so she didn't care about my situation. So I walked through the TurboTax steps and was able to get myself a better tax break and when I brought that to her attention I was informed by her I didn't tell her about my kids in college when I did let her know in the beginning that my adult kids went to school full time so I didn't have proof of address from their jobs since they didn't work. After informing her what I did different in TurboTax she has not responded to me, I wouldn't think it's urgent to her since she already received her payment so I just filed my taxes through TurboTax and am taking it as a major lesson learned.

I emailed the items she requested and later asked if the consultation was free or if there was a cost. I wanted to be prepared either way. I went ahead and confirmed an appointment for 2/10/2026. A couple of days later I called to follow up on the cost of the appointment. Roxanne informed me that the accountant I had been assigned to worked part time but assured me he would contact me about my concerns. As of 2/6/2026, I had not heard from anyone so I cancelled my appointment. I don't think my request was unreasonable and wonder why the information couldn't have been gotten by someone else in the office. There was no response to my email to answer my questions or attempt to reschedule. I reached out to Kalos because of their strong reviews on Yelp.
