From clothes and shoes to electrical goods and DVDs all cheaper than high street prices. I recommend checking the Factory Shop out for Aftershave and Perfume bargins for christmas. As they motto states Big Brands, Big Products, Big Savings i think that says it all really. The only bad points that i can think of is that its packed with products - not suitable if you have a pram or pushchair, and the lack of car parking facilities outside the shop. The best bet is to park in the windmill car park and walk up to the Factory Shop.

They also have lots of great priced shoes for kids and adults. A good place to pick up some christmas presants too. The only downside to the shop is its so full it can be difficult to get around and the clothes rails are far too full to be able to have a look without knocking something off. Still worth a visit, its best to pop in regularly as you never know what you might find!!

I worked in the Fosse Park Next for nearly 2 years so I know the place very well. There are about 20 large clothes stores including M&S, Next, River Island and plenty of electrical and home stores as well as a large Asda. Parking is free, but at busy times it can be difficult to find a space. At Christmas and sale times people can be seen abandoning their cars on the approach roads to the park! In all well worth a visit if you dont want the hassle of the city center, with all the shops you will need.

There is also an Asda Petrol station with pay at pump and a carwash. In the main area of Fosse Park there are quite a good range for of shops like Dorothy Perkins, BHS, GAP, Monsoon, Boots, Marks and spencer. The opening hours are good and on Sundays most shops there don't close until 5pm which is gretat There is also quite a large food court with a McDonals, KFC, Pizza Hut, Druckers, sandwich bar etc but it gets really busy and you will struggle to get a table sometimes. The large carpark gets very full up at the weekend so avoid peak times. On the plus side, the car park is free. Cross the road near BHS and you get to the furniture/electrical part of Fosse Park where you will find shops like PC World, Argos, Harveys. You can spend a good day at Fosse Park without heading into Leicester city centre and having the expense of car parking.

There are a couple of galleries, which always have interesting stuff in, although the prices make me run away usually! Grand Arcade
I walk through the long passage of this Arcade daily on my way to the faculty, and the impression…read moreit makes is largely that of a bleak characterless provincial mall. There is no design creativity whatsoever with shops simply lined up along the way on two levels. It's filled with bland typical high street businesses like mobile phone companies' stores, HMV, Starbucks, Tophshop, etc. On the bright side there is also Hugo Boss here. An attempt to develop the upmarket retailing is also evident in a number of high end watch and jewelry boutiques. Overall though, with all the foreign tourists, students and the general reputation of Cambridge for being an attractive town, its premier modern department store could be somewhat more interesting.
