We always enjoy coming to Merle and Caroline's tree farm for our Christmas trees!! Great folks with a wonderful and extensive selection of trees. So many to choose from!! We like TALL trees (10-14ft.) and there is ALWAYS a perfect tree for us. If you prefer, they will cut, bale and wrap your fresh tree for you. Great service and reasonable prices. And don't forget, fresh cut trees LAST LONGER!! Although we only live 25 miles away (Naubinway Mi), we think a longer trip would be well worth it for these superior fresh cut trees. read more

I was given three different prices from a pamphlet we got from the resort office, their website, and what rates I was given by Tony over the phone. $175 for a three hour rental is ridiculous!!! I was then given attitude over the phone and told to check their website which I pulled up while on the phone. When I told Tony the rates on the website were different from what she was telling me she told me they don't advertise their half-day rental. What a joke! To put the icing on this over priced cake when she asked me if I wanted to buy the insurance I asked what it covered. She told me if the machine was damaged I could still pay up to $700 worth of repairs. That's what your $35 insurance buys the chance to still pay money if someone crashes into while on the trail. Bring your own helmet cause those too are over priced at $25 a pop. In short, look elsewhere and save your money. We came to the UP to enjoy the freshwater and these guys are too salty on their ATV/UTV prices!
