This is one of the most customer unfriendly businesses that I have come across. They have absolutely no interest in customer satisfaction. Some say they are the best in the business. Maybe with the particular skill that they have, but not with customer service and satisfaction. I sent a valve cluster for valve fitting and re-plating. When I received the completed cluster, it was damaged. One of the out tubes from the 1st valve was smashed and closed about half of its diameter. When I called Anderson's and brought this to their attention, one of their technicians told me that they received it that way. He said that the USPS box was practically falling apart. I told him that the parcel was insured and asked why they did not file a claim with the Post Office. He responded that most of what they receive is beat up so he thought nothing of it. I explained that it was insured and that that purpose of insurance is to get restitution in the event of damage. He then asked me to send a picture of the damage.I sent a picture and nothing happened, so I called again and spoke to Denny. He asked me to send another picture, so I sent another picture. Again, nothing happened. I called again. Denny told me that it was an easy fix that I could do with a dent ball. I was not satisfied with the failure of Anderson's employees to take responsibility, soI sent an email message to Mike Anderson, the owner of the company. I did not get a response, so I sent Mike Anderson a certified letter explaining the situation. He replied to the letter, telling me that he he was aware of the situation and he agreed with everything that his staff communicated to him. Then he contradicted himself by saying that I should nit attempt to repair the damage myself. As explained earlier, his staff member, Denny, suggested that I fix the damage myself. Mr. Anderson offered no assistance to have the valve cluster repaired. He went on to insinuate that I sent the cluster to them already damaged. I have not received any kind of support from the people at Anderson's. They get the lowest possible rating for customer service, On their letter head it shows "Quality Price Service". I don't know how they can put the word "Service" there. That is misleading and dishonest. Before you send anything of value to Anderson Silver Plating you should think twice. If your valuable instrument gets damaged in the process, Anderson's will do nothing to help you. There are other places that do valve fitting and re-plating. They may not be as big and famous as Anderson's, but they may have some respect for you and your property. read more
