I was going to work part-time for Nelson Fleming. After 2 days, I decided it wasn't going to be a…read moregood fit. It's been 1 1/2 months and I have not been paid for my time. This is against the law. I should have been paid on the next regularly scheduled pay date, as I was hired as an employee. I called him and emailed him. Now, I'm filing a complaint with the Colorado Dept of Labor. It isn't much money, but it's the principal. Employers are required to pay employees for work performed. Interesting as well, because he's a CPA. Not sure of his ethics at this point. Can't recommend him as an employer. If he doesn't pay his employees, not sure how trustworthy he would be as your CPA or tax advisor/preparer?
