If you want a pastor who cares for your soul, avoid David Rickerd, for the reasons listed above, he is not qualified for the ministry. I was a member at Hope Baptist for nearly 5 years, I am thankful to be free of the place; if you have been hurt by Rickerd or anyone else in the IFB, please understand they do not represent Christianity well.

Back to church hopping to find somewhere that truly teaches from the Bible and only the Bible. All y'all need to know is one thing - the Holy Spirit is not only alive and well here, it is on fire!!! I just moved here, trying to find a good home church. This Bible Belt has A LOT to offer, but I go where the Spirit leads me, and even though it's a ways from me, I've never felt so welcomed and so consumed by God in a church and will be returning

I attended Sunday early service, then serve during the second service when available. Great way to meet people and get connected. I also attend Home Group every other week, Wednesday morning Men's Bible study and Sunday night co-ed Bible study. Love it. Get a lot out of Sunday's service.
