Their waiting area is bright, open, and clean. But also includes lots to keep the kiddos occupied. Their entire office is covered in glass windows that allow you to see the beautiful Anchorage back drop whenever you wish. I have taken my neurodivergent kids to Alaska Dentistry a few times now. We are always welcomed, kept in the loop, and dental services performed are thorough yet fast. Recently, I made an appt for all (3) of my kids to be seen at the same time, and we were in and out in less than an hour. We SO appreciate that. One of my kids has high support needs and is non-verbal. I love how both the dental assistants and doctors are able to work with and around this. Keeping everyone comfortable but also informed. Dr. Copeland has a great sense of humor and he's great at what he does. His protege Dr. Cody is thee best! Dental assistants: Ryan, Felix and Gerianne are phenomenal. Alaska Dentistry is a bit of an all-inclusive. They do sedations here (our next experience), and even Invisalign! Highly recommend!

Coplin told her he didn't need her "attitude" because she was expressing where her obvious pain was when he asked. She was crying and ended up leaving. Learn to treat your patients with respect and trust that when they say they're in pain, they are. What reason do you think a 12 year old had to lie about her mouth being in pain?? Disgusting behavior. While we highly praised and recommended you guys before this, we will never think to do so again. For a place specializing in child care, this is no place to bring your child.

They stopped for a little while and when she was ready to continue they continued what they were doing. And my youngest was not having it, she was crying the whole time, but the hygienist was wonderful and patient. Not once did any of them showed that they were irritated. I'm glad that I chose to come here (we are fairly new to AK). Dr. Foster was great, she explained everything about my two girls teeth and made my girls feel comfortable. I wish I got both hygienist names, but I didn't . But I would recommend seeing Dr. Foster. They also sent this wonderful card after the visit, and they even drew the pictures. My husband hadn't been to the dentist in quite some time and was impressed by Dr. Gardiner and his staff at Williams Dental Care. This prompted me to start seeing Dr. Gardiner myself. I hadn't been to the dentist in over 7 years at that point, mostly due to lack of insurance. Well, I had found a new job with good insurance and was ready to catch up on some much needed dentistry, so I made an appointment. Making an appointment was easy. They try to be very accommodating at these offices, offering appointments at 7 a.m. so you don't have to miss any work. My first appointment with Dr. Gardiner went very well and we established a treatment [plan to get my teeth back into good shape after having been neglected for so long. Dr. Gardiner is very kind and has a very good way of explaining what he's doing so you aren't just sitting there with your mouth wide open with sharp, pointy tools in there and no idea what the heck is going on... His equipment is state of the art, but that does not mean he charges beaucoup bucks for cleanings or fillings. The reason I went to Dr. Gardiner, besides the recommendation from my husband's coworker was that my old dentist had retired and the dentist he sold his practice to started charging extortionary fees. The fees at Williams Dental were less than the fees the other dentist charged me seven years previously! Between the reasonable fees, the good staff, the central location and state of the art equipment, Dr. Gardiner and Williams Dental Care will be the only dentist my family will see. He genuinely seems to care about not only your dental health, but your overall well-being. I'd give them 6 stars if I could. P.S. And they bill insurance. The pediatric optometrist specialists here are top tier. Quickly able to get my sons prescription with very little help or cooperation from him. The doctor uses Donald Duck memorabilia and Donald Duck voices to engage my son. He turns down most of the lights so things are calm. Clearly my son isn't the first neuro-divergent patient he's had and it shows. This office is very organized and clean and although our visit required us to go on 3 different floors, I never felt lost. It was actually one of our shorter appointments, I was very surprised. What started off with me being anxious and not knowing what to expect ended up being an amazing experience after all. I will always recommend this place. What would I have done without them?

What more can you ask for? Two things to be mindful of: 1. I was told a patch would be given to us for kid and it was not. Kind of a big deal since I am not in the area and have to order them and wait for shipping. 2. Kid was given eye exam, but they only measure Pupilary Distance if you specifically ask for it. Other providers I've gone to write it down without you having to ask. So then you get home and go to order glasses and surprise - incomplete prescription. So just have to remind them to follow through on these two items.
