However, this studio only participates in the ​said event on the last Sunday of the month and they offer a free yoga class from 11:00 - 12:00. Virginie runs the studio and is a lovely person. While she teaches she mostly speaks and does little modeling of standing postures. She leaves a great deal of​ time between postures and reiterates often that it is the breath that inspires postures and she discourages using too much effort. The studio is conveniently located near the Noailles Metro station. I appreciated that she has a Tuesday night class that starts at 18:00 which was very convenient to attend when I finished my classes at the University.

There are doors that open to a courtyard below and the balcony is covered in grape vines, and the branches of verdant trees can be seen in the distance. The wood floors are inviting and the studio is impeccably clean. Although I brought my own yoga mat, the studio did have mats for students to use. Florence's class was slow paced and she emanates calmness and her voice is tranquil. We did not exceed four repetitions of each asana, but I tell you the work is deep! I am sore in different joints of my body, a day after the class. It's the good kind of sore that reminds you that you've done right by your body. Florence was very kind and patient with me when she realized that French is not my first language. She discreetly approached me and asked if it would be better for her to say some things in English instead. We worked it out. She conducted the class mostly in French and from time to time, if I looked lost, she would translate for me. I am grateful to Le Studyo for offering a promotional deal in the month of September - you can take your first class for only 5 Euros. It's hard to say no to a deal like that! On another note, Le Studyo is located in walking distance to the Castellane metro station and when class ended the daily market was still in full swing. Merci Florence et merci Le Studyo.
