I had a delivery which used A Post, I received an email prior the delivery with date item would be delivered and estimated time of arrival, there was also a manage delivery option which I used. I left specific instructions on where to leave the package but it was not left there instead a note was left and I had to travel to the post office to collect it. That's not a delivery service.
I contacted A Post directly and got a cold response. I was told it could not be left as it needed a signature, when I collected at the post office I wasn't asked for a signature. The reason for the instruction was there was someone else in the house but they where unable to get to the door quickly enough but they don't recall heading the door bell ring either so not sure if that was even done. All in all A Post are only good for delivering letters, the parcel service unless it fits through a letter box leaves a lot to be desired, stay clear of you want less hassle. read more
