I have had such a difficult time finding a hair stylist that was able to cut my hair the way I envisioned. My search is over!!! I wish I had found this place sooner! The woman who cut my hair, who I believe is the owner (?), was so sweet and efficient. I wish I asked for her name but she was wonderful! Her assistant was also very kind and I found them to be a great team! The owner asked what I wanted and for inspiration photos, which I had ready. She then asked several other questions based on what I said I wanted and the photos I showed her. I wanted face framing layers, a V-cut on the back of my hair, and some bang styling that was appropriate for my face shape. From sitting down, to walking out the door, my haircut took only 40-45 mins! AMAZING! I feel like I have a lot of hair and I wanted layers so I was impressed by how efficiently everything was done, including the washing of my hair & curling after! I also found the price to be very fair and reasonable for what my end-product was with my hair. I highly recommend ON:U if you are in the search for a women's haircut!!! Seriously such an amazing experience ‍ P.S. If you'd like to tip the assistant, please bring cash! I didn't know this beforehand and I felt bad when I left because I don't carry cash on me. I'm so happy I did. The lady that washed my hair was amazing and I just melted in her hands. My head was massaged and I feel like the wash was well done. My scalp was happy! I was lucky to have Andy cut my hair. The reviews on his art was good so I was surprised to find out he was the stylist that took care of me. He did such a great job. I can't thank him enough for giving me a wonderful birthday hair cut. The charges were reasonable and worth every dollar. It was also the most tip I've given to any stylist. The owner is very involved with scheduling and while I was there clearly, she had several regulars coming in. She was so personable and it makes sense why her salon has such high ratings. I got my cut from James and he was very thorough. He asked me what kind of cut I wanted. I let him know a general idea but that I was not entirely sure. He talked me through some different options and made sure I was comfortable before he started cutting. He also kept me entertained with various jokes and conversation to keep me at ease. He asked the right questions along the way to make sure that I was comfortable with the style and it's been about a week and I still love my hair! She went over what she can do and what she couldn't based in my hair type (Asian straight hair) and previous hair coloring/balayage. I went with her first solution to do a partial highlight to blend in my previous balayage. She did suggest to do a re-tone if I didn't want to spend more time and money on my hair. On the day of my appointment, my daughter ended up staying home, so I called to see if they might be able to fit her in since I was already scheduled. The other charges were for treatments he didn't give me and additional charges and bank fees, which I asked him to explain, and he didn't. I told him that the salon prices were different, and he said he wasn't part of the salon and that his prices were different. I told him that he should inform his clients beforehand. This guy literally robbed me and it's a scam. If you're going to get serviced by him, please ask about the cost first because he acted with bad intentions..
