On entering we hadn't anticipated how charming the interior was. The Service was very good. The ladies wore tradition costumes. Mark ordered a beef stroganoff. It was so delicious. I had the pierogi. Homemade and heavenly. Portions are very generous. We also bought some of the preserves they sold. A very pleasant dining experience indeed. No nonsense, unpretentious home cooking.

It's the last place before you leave the country..if you happen to be walking or biking to Germany. I had both the potato dumplings with meat, and the beef strogonof both awesome meals. Food 2: Chicken wrapped in bacon, side of sauerkraut and pommes. The boyfriend seemed happy to be eating anything at all. No commentary. Tasteless and lack luster, we dressed our food with ketchup and mayo to increase tastebud tingles. 0.5L beer was perfectly over - foamed with a luxurious head.
