When it comes to 'poor service' Amplified is truly remarkable. We had the Bump-to-Baby photo shoot, and every appointment was like a scene from a Laurel and Hardy movie. At my Bump photo shoot, Sally-Jade, the makeup 'artist', did my makeup. Ha. That was a joke in itself, it was like she was face painting. We made sure that print was black and white.
Every set of photos from the 'shoots was wrong, or the 'printers' messed up. They couldn't even manage to 'touch-up' any of the photos. We've taken better selfie photos with a camera phone. I have so many emails back and forth, it's ridiculous.
We had an appointment arranged and they moved premises, without telling us. We arrived at the old premises to see shutters on the windows. We called to remind them of our appointment, to which we got "Oh, we moved to Pontyclun. You'll have to rearrange your appointment." Yeah, thanks.
Our final 'shoot was the 'Smash the Cake'. Of the entire time we were at the appointment, there was only one photo we liked. We ordered it in colour. As true to Amplified form, they sent out a black and white print and blamed the printers, because the order they placed was infact for colour. Why did you not check the order before sending it out?? More than a month on, we're still waiting for this photo.
I got a voucher via Groupon, and never have I been so glad I didn't pay full price. I would never recommend them to take part in anyones special times. They are completely amateur in every way imaginable. read more
