Sure the stock is on the pricey side but you will be hard pressed to find beautiful children's clothes that are inexpensive these days. This brilliant store specialises in clothing for boys and girls from 0-14 with brands such as Big by Fiona Scanlan, Eeni Meeni Mini Mo and the delicate dainty Tutu du Monde tutus which are displayed around the store. 'I am Kidz' also offers whimsical baby gifts including the range of 'Down to the Wood's lamb freckle rugs and pixel ottomans which are handmade in Nepal. Doll house are exquisite in detail and have to be seen to believed and there is also a collection of beautiful bed linen for children. I always search out the children's prewalker and toddlers shoe range which they stock in plenty for those precious little feet.and love to rummage through the sales rack that frequently sits outside the store.

They're pretty little numbers, especially seeing as we're in spring racing season. Some of the patterns are a little OTT and turquoise for my taste, but if you rifle through the racks, you can find quite the array of fashionable cuteness. Best yet, the dresses and suits seem to be designed for actual women - you know, women with hips and boobs. That's always appreciated. My first, shocked, visit, I ended up buying a sweet little top that is very well made and has worn extremely well. So while I don't think it'll be a regular shopping spot for me (especially considering I avoid clothes shopping!), I know enough now to a) not be shocked by the sight of dresses rather than shoes and b) go in and have a browse for a well fitting frock.

I stopped by here because the place was painted bright red, I HAD to see whatever it was they were selling. It's kind of a duplex layout. On entry is all the antique furniture and the other has all the second hand clothes. First off I went into the second hand clothes section. It had all great stuff, and very cheap. I got a few things and my sister got some great stuff as well. There were plenty of funky vintage clothes (at cheap prices) and some normal everyday second hand clothes. There are definitely bargains to be had here and some really great labels! I love the little knick knacks and statues scattered around the shop as well. I'm also obsessed with the art deco clock on the wall. I keep asking how much it is and each time they tell me it's not for sale. It will be mine, oh yes, it will be mine. Next I went into the antique furniture side. WOW. The furniture in there is just glorious. I was obsessed by these 3 Japanese paintings on wooden frames. I didn't have enough money to buy all three on the day, so saved up and went back the next week. 2 out of the three were sold! I was gutted, but it just goes to show how popular this place is. It is full of lovely children's clothes and communion dresses. The brands you find here you won't find in K-Mart or Target. They specialise in the Monna Lisa brand from Italy, very good quality and lovely designs. From babies up to about 14 years, they have quite a range. I have visited several times for my granddaughter and have purchased some lovely items. My granddaughter is getting too old now so maybe I will return to buy my grandson something.
