Parking: they have valet and free street parking, which was not too difficult to find on a Sunday night. Food: free bread service with delicious butter. The pasta dishes were pretty standard. The meat entrees do not come with pasta you have to order it on the side. For the quality and quantity, the food is a little expensive, but if you come here you are paying for the atmosphere. The flourless cake was delicious and we had the millers special pasta which was great! Service: our server was super lively and fun. They do not let you split entrees or the bill. It is clearly noted on the menu so just prepare for that. This dinner moved slow and the service was a little all over the place, not ideal if you're just looking for a quick casual dinner, but I don't know why you would chose this restaurant if that's what you were in the mood for. read more

I went here for the first time on a Friday at 5:30pm and really enjoyed it. I attached photos, but currently, it is decorated for Halloween. It felt equal parts a great dinner + a festive, spooky themed experience. Complete with a witch hat and glow stick on our table! Loved it. Warm bread is immediately brought to the table along with a house-made butter. The owner herself took our order and provided recommendations -- that touch in a family owned restaurant that has been around for decades is amazing. The longevity is no surprise after experiencing the quality of service. All food is made to order. Our food came out within 5 minutes of ordering! Delicious Italian food. Incredible ambiance. Possibly the best Italian food I've ever had, and I've had a lot, in a variety of "foodie" cities, small towns, and all places in between. I have a laundry list of unusual food allergies, and this restaurant is both safe for me and they went above and beyond to make sure that anything that I ordered would be 100% safe. Unsurprisingly, the service is also topnotch. The ambiance is kitschy fun, and everyone leaves with some kind of party hat, but if you have folks who are easily overwhelmed by a lot of "stuff" you may want to check it out in person before you commit. Or blindfold them and just get them inside so they can eat the fabulous food. Or leave them home and bring them a to-go meal. Just get this food, because it's amazing. This ambience is absolutely stunning. We were having a great time until the food came out. I had barely taken a bite out of my pasta before I saw a long hair sticking out of a pasta piece. It was intertwined in a way that showed clearly that the hair was in the pasta when the dough was made. When I pointed this out, the waiter was not at all apologetic and called his manager. The manager started claiming that no one in the kitchen has long hair but it was evident that the hair was rolled into the pasta dough. They implied I put the hair in myself. If this was the case why would I do it before I even ate the food and also how would I stick it INSIDE the pasta. They gave me no apology, stuck me with a replacement dish for which my appetite was completely ruined and didn't even offer to make up for my experience. I'll start with the positives: great ambiance, good drinks, and decent food. The decorations were fun and the pasta was good, but not as good as some other famous Atlanta staples. Now for the negatives: we felt extremely rushed and the restaurant wasn't even busy. The entire dining experience was an hour on the dot, and for what was clearly a date night, the service was honestly too fast. At one point the waiter came to clear our appetizer and served the last meatball to my husband without asking whether it was ok to do so, then just walked off. At another point a different server came and put his hand on our bread to take it away without asking. I told him that we were still working on it, and not five minutes laster did yet another different man come over and clear the bread entirely without saying a word. Rule number one when waiting tables is you NEVER touch someone's food without asking if they are done with it or still enjoying it...to have this happen multiple times was frustrating and added to the rushed experience. Most fun I've had in a restaurant in a long time! Likely ever! The restaurant features a rotating theme, monthly. The theme we experienced was 'The Wizard of Oz'. Theme related pieces decorated the space while 1930-40s swing and features from the film played for the first portion of the evening. We had a phenomenal meal. My wife and I opted for the 'Family Style' option, $95 for a waterfall of food that featured Italian cured cuts, HUGE slices of fine Italian parmigiana, and a Caesar salad. The included pasta was wide noodles with tender and herbal meat balls. The entree was the FULL order of any of their entree options. My wife's Osso Bucco was enough for us to split, easily, at that point. This was followed by several tastings of their desserts. I don't want to spoil a surprise, but make sure you stick around until 8:45! Note to all those who are stuffy, stuck up, or just plain mean. It's called Amore E Amore for a reason. Our server was so on top of things and made sure we had everything we needed. She was very fun and professional. The owner came over to take our food order which we saw her do with many other tables as well. I thought that was so intentional and thoughtful. The food was so good. We got the mussels as an appetizer and I could've drank the liquid those come in, SO good with bread which you get a whole loaf freshly baked. We got a Caesar salad to split and that was just the perfect amount of dressing and so flavorful. It was my first time at this restaurant and I came with other family members who are regulars here. Upon entering, I was in awe at how well-decorated it was with a Winter Wonderland theme. First, the pre-meal bread and butter was delicious and I was tempted to keep eating it. We all shared a Caesar salad. I liked that it had a lot of black pepper, but I wish it had more croutons in it. For my entree, I got the Fettuccine Alfredo. It was the best Fettuccine Alfredo that I've had in the U.S because it reminded me of the Fettuccine Alfredo at the restaurant that made the original recipe in Italy. I forgot the names of the entrees that the other members of family had, but they enjoyed it as well. For desert, we got the bread pudding, cannolis, and a lemon cake. I loved the cannoli and the bread pudding was nice and warm. My only complaints are that the service was very, very slow since it was peak time on a Friday night and the music playing where we were seated was a tad bit loud. But the staff was extremely accommodating to us. We came here a few days ago on a whim for dinner. I was very disappointed to learn that they did not have a bar available to dine at. We sat at a table in the gorgeous dining room, and it is a truly beautiful restaurant. Immediately upon sitting, we felt extremely rushed. We ordered drinks and the meatball appetizer. The appetizer came out in 2 minutes and was very disappointing. The menu states that the meatballs are homemade, but they tasted frozen to us. It was a plate of 6 tiny meatballs for $17. Not worth the price at ALL. 3 of these meatballs basically made up one regular sized meatball. I wish I had taken a picture but I forgot. We ate them in less than a minute, they were so small. They had asked for our entree order at least 4 times by this point, by multiple different people, and we still hadn't even received our drinks. We waited until the drinks came to order entrees. The lavender paloma's were too sweet, and needed more citrus. We ordered the lobster ravioli and prime medallions for our entrees. The lobster ravioli was very delicious, definitely my favorite thing we ordered. The prime medallions were also very good and it was a generous portion. I would have ordered another drink, but we felt so rushed. I like to sit at a bar and take my time enjoying my food and drinks, and normally I order multiple drinks. We didn't have the time to do that here. They also sang Christmas music and handed out little Santa hats to everyone. Very fun atmosphere. The food was good. I had the shrimp which were like three very large shrimp in red sauce with a little bit of spice. Also had a pasta dish with long flat noodles in red sauce that didn't have much flavor. Took my husband out for his birthday. One of his favorite meals is chicken parm, so I chose this restaurant. This place was a unique vibe!!!. The music is loud but fun ,so if you aren't into that , this may not be a place for you. We had a table for two and the table was sooooo small I had no elbow room let alone room for much of anything. My butter knife flew off the right side and my clutch purse flew off the left side lol. Next time I'm going to bring two extra people because you have to have a party of atleast 4 to get a booth. I had the shrimp scampi and a strawberry Moscow mule, it was so delicious. My husband enjoyed his chicken parm and was really happy. He said the restaurant reminded him of back home New York. I get that it's supposed to be an experience, but it is a sensory overload. So many decorations. The music is loud enough that you can't hear the person across the table from you. The service started pretty good. We were seated quickly with our reservation. We got the filet mignon ($50) and the chicken parmigiana $30). First flag was that I was informed that the chicken parmigiana was served without pasta. I have never heard of that--maybe I have just been lucky enough to only ever go to some fine restaurants that include at least some kind of pasta with their parmigiana. I can only guess that this means that the eggplant parmigiana is just a fried eggplant with cheese, but I digress. The ciabatta bread was warm and tasty, the highlight of the meal as it turned out. The second flag was that the food came out less than 5 minutes after we ordered it. It was hot, but that's about all the good I can say for it. The chicken parmigiana was slopped over with some kind of chewy cheese that covered two large, thin cuts of fried chicken bathed in sauce from a Spaghettios can. It was not good. My wife's steaks looked good, but were okay, but just barely okay--that is until it hit her stomach and made her run to the restroom to "give it back." While my wife was gone, the server came over and asked if we were enjoying the meal. I was honest and told him no, that we didn't like the food and that it was pretty bad (it tasted like cafeteria food, which can be good if you're in a cafeteria and expecting that instead of dropping a Benjamin on what is supposed to be good Italian food). The server quickly picked up the plates and told me that we could just leave then. Before my wife came back from the bathroom, the "guy in charge" came over and asked if he could go personally make something for us because our tastes were obviously off. He said that he has been eating chicken parmigiana there daily for 14 years and it is always great. I agreed that our tastes must just be vastly different and, since we were already asked to leave, that we would find somewhere else to eat. It was a polite exchange and I thanked him for the conversation. Probably deserves one star, but I gave it two since at least someone cared and came to talk to me and the warm bread was good. It was an experience, but one I hope to forget soon. Not good for kids. Not good for talking. Not good for eating high-quality and delicious food.
