They know their stuff, and I never had a bad PA or MA in my entire 1.5 years going here. However, I needed a biopsy of my thyroid and the way in which I was treated by Dr. Henderson has me hesitant to recommend them, regardless of what they know. I went in for the biopsy fine, and left in tears. Since then, I've learned that I am not as sensitive to numbing agents as most people (meaning I require more than the average person). I was numbed up, but when she went to get the biopsy I could still feel the needle, and I told her that. She then got very annoyed with me, to the point that even her assistant in the room with us said maybe they should numb me more. Dr. Henderson responded (nastily) that I just needed to "SIT STILL." I kept telling her I could feel it and she finally huffed and stopped trying. Said I would need to be put to sleep to have one done in the future. I've been to other specialists since then and have not had experiences even CLOSE to that. Save yourself the stress of bad bedside manner. You don't have to let a doctor talk down to you just because they're an "expert." I hope for the sake of other patients things have changed. I know plenty of people have had fine experiences, but that's mine and I wanted to share it.

We spent 30min in there chatting and detoxifying. They have speakers so you can listen to your own music if you wish. Iced towels are provided to cool down and wash off once the session is complete. The facility is clean and bright and towels and robes are provided. I look forward to going back to try the Migun table. Nutritionist is available, along with cleanses, Kangen water, and therapeutic massage. Spa and wellness memberships make getting health a little more affordable. I didn't feel pressured into investing in any of their services which is a welcome change.

Involving you in making decisions about my health. Providing details about new medications prescribed. If there is a scale in 1 to 10 , I would rate 10 for them - entire staff I would recommend Dr. Tina Botelho to others. It was really ease of scheduling this appointment. Ability to communicate with the practice on the phone. Maintaining patient privacy throughout this visit Being informed about any delays during this visit Each member of my care team identified themselves and their role in my care. to mention a few staff members are the following: Mrs. Yolanda outstanding manager. I knew from the minute I met him that he was the doctor for me. He is realistic, extremely knowledgeable and truly cares. He really knows what he's doing. He came up with the perfect protocol for me and I had success with my very first transfer. Tavi, my nurse was so amazing. She was so comforting and sweet throughout my whole journey. She always answered on the first ring and was there for me for every question and step. They were really there for so I've been going through a life since August of last year and when I say Dr. even though she probably couldn't help me with certain things that I said she still was there give me a listening ear or maybe try to help me guide I need to go. Samantha she was just on top of Vet on top of everything. I would recommend anybody to go to MUSC Northeast.

I've had three surgeries at MUSC and have been impressed with quality of care. The only negative is lack of parking and no valet service, especially for elderly and handicapped.
