Pros: -Staff was super friendly and helpful overall. -The sense of community within the hostel. -Loved the "family" dinners for 6-8 euros. -Outdoor space was awesome. -Great location. -Shared facilities were clean and comfortable. -24/7 staffing meant our group of women felt safe and secure.  -Lots of hostel activity options available. Cons: -When I went to drop off my bags, the staff offered to check us in early in exchange for a five star review on HostelWorld. Aside from that being uncool and unethical, I didn't even book through HostelWorld. -The triple suite was outdated, the beds were not very comfortable (cheap foam), and the room needs an update. There was no spot in the bathroom to set anything down aside from on the floor, the shower head was awkward and difficult to work around in various positions, the pillows were super thin, the bathroom always smelled really bad even when nobody used it for hours, the door leading to the terrace is always locked which kind of defeats the purpose, and the ladder to the bunk beds was extremely difficult and scary to use even while very much sober.  -We planned a couple nights around the hostel dinner, which is scheduled at 9p. One of the dinners wasn't served til nearly 10:30p, which meant we had to cancel our plans.  -My food was taken from the fridge within 12 hours of bringing it back, despite writing our info on it. -Luggage room security is lacking, as it's all based on an honor system once you have the key.

I loved the energy and the daily night events that they held, such as bar nights, a tapa night, a paella night and so forth! They are also very informative on directions and tips about sites that you might want to check out in Barcelona! Their complimentary map is very helpful as well! They have an open lounge area, an internet computer section, a private skater room to my surprise, laundry facility and a kitchen area to cook in! Pretty unique for a hostel that I have experienced in thus far! Plus, they conveniently have an elevator! It takes a major load off when or if you have a huge luggage that is twice your size to bring up! Rather than carrying my heavy luggage up the stairs manually, the elevator was a savior! I definitely had a pleasant and fun time here! I highly recommend this hostel!

The best parts of it were the nighttime staff and it felt very safe/protective of our stuff. Other than that, it was not worth the price. We got a 3 person private room and the air conditioning never turned on even when we kept asking them to fix it bc it was over 80 degrees out and even hotter in the rooms. They didn't provide anything, no towels, hand soap, etc. The breakfast is below average. Overall, not dirty or horrible, just very hot and not super great.

It's very far from the center of Barcelona. In a bad neighborhood on the same street there is a homeless camp. As a woman traveler I did not feel safe at all in the neighborhood. It's also far from the metro station. My friend and I stayed for a total of 30 minutes and realize we had to leave because of the conditions. We absolutely felt scammed. The interaction with the receptionist was very hostile. I was being very polite saying that we did not feel comfortable and if he could help in anyway. I was completely attacked and he spoke with a condescending tone making me feel like a complete idiot and said he could not help me at all. The customer service is horrendous. SO RUDE. He wanted to argue with me. DONT STAY HERE. I can not stress it enough. Bottom Line we Left and had so find an other place to stay immediately.

You can get a mixed room or girls only room for 15-20 Euros a night. As they advertise, they're located close to La Sagrada Familia and there's some nice amenities. Also, the bathrooms, kitchen, and linens weren't the cleanest in the world. They weren't necessarily super nasty, but it was definitely a reminder that we weren't staying in a hotel. In addition to that, people tended to come in at like 3 in the morning and be very loud, which woke us up each night. Good things: The staff is quite friendly, English-speaking, and there is 24 hour reception. They have a locked luggage room where you can store your things, or lockers (though you need your own lock for those). The beds are reasonably comfortable, and the hostel is very close to the metro and the Sagrada Familia. It's also extremely close to the Girona airport and about a 20 min taxi ride to the El Prat airport (it only cost me 20€ to take a taxi all the way to the airport, which is pretty reasonable). And I don't think anyone is going to argue with the awesomeness of free internet! My experience overall was positive, and There's a good chance I would book there again if I ever return to Barcelona. However, I definitely wasn't "wow'd" by my time there, hence the 3 stars. Not bad but improvements could be made.
