This company was purchased by Reliance and now by ADT. The company is based in Quebec. I selected this company as I purchased my residence and an existing alarm was available. The alarm was from Protectron. I called and met with an agent who promised a new system with modern day features like SMS/text. After signing the contract, I learned that my existing system would be used. It was old and did not seem complete. Protectron assured me that they would enable the system. The system need extra sensors and as such I need to commit to a three year term. This was the first mistake. The alarm system was never 100%. Service was at best ok. At the end of the term, they emailed me asking for a renewal. I spoke with my wife and we declined via email. They continued to charge our account for approximately 6+ months until we discovered the matter. We contacted them. They were rude and could not effectively communicate in English with me. They are a Quebec company. I wasted 1.5 hours on the phone. They refused referring me to a Manager. I contacted my bank and stop all further payments. They told me that they might have on file a recording of my voice agreeing to a two year extension. That was an outright lie. I checked my records and found the email. I emailed them back showing proof. They said they could never have accepted my email to stop service. They original emailed me the contract to sign and renew!! Via email!!!! No funds will be reimbursed they said. I ask that you stay away from ADT MSP, Reliance Protectron, Protector company. These people are not good at what they do. Their customer service is terrible. I purchased a new home and had them install my alarm system and I have not one complaint. They also do guard services and used them for a fundraiser event and once again they performed well.
