I have been to Milan, to Rome. There are great Italian restaurants in New York. The Hague? Please. I expected to grab a snack after. The special was a pasta with goat cheese and shaved Parmesan cheese. I ordered that to start and an artichoke appetizer as well. When they came, I was a little surprised. Well plated, colorful food. The first bite was a religious experience. I closed my eyes to concentrate. The bite was perfect: not tough but firm; at the same time soft and friendly to my mouth. It may be the best pasta I have ever eaten. Far and away the best, actually. My main course was a beef dish that was perfectly cooked, sliced but not all the way through. Nicely presented and sauced. Even the carafe of water was delicious: mint and lime and iced cold. Never had that before. Desert was tiramisu. Friends: I have enjoyed many times over a good tiramisu. I have seen chefs muck it up with frou frou accouterments. I have been served store bought cake on a plate served as home made. I'm saying that I know the tiramisu market. This was an outstanding desert. Again: I closed my eyes to savor the whole experience taking place in my mouth. A delight. A gustatory romance between desert and palate. And a damn fine cup of cappuccino. The service was professional and courteous. Really top shelf. The table outside on a very empty two lane road (plenty of parking) and was under tall, old trees. The check was painless. With wine, drinks, and coffee and desert it was less than I expected to pay. Especially for food of this caliber. I am very happy when I am surprised with good food and service. This was one of those times. I am not sure if life will allow me to come back to DenHaag, but if I can, I will come back here. Strongly recommended. Not to be missed. Worth a detour.

One simply cannot describe the beauty of this restaurant. We arrived while traveling on an evening…read morewhen the restaurant was having live music and a set menu. The owner of course explained that the options were limited to three choices for the entree . We were not deterred. Thank goodness! Not only is the restaurant full of charm in its location but the staff was incredibly inviting as if going into a familiar setting . On the main front the wine choices were good, the food was amazing ! Full of flavor but light at the same time . I enjoyed every bite . The lemon Chello is homemade and not to be missed . I have travel often and it's rare to find a place where you feel so at home and you know that you would never miss a chance a returning to dine again . Bravo to the owner Chef for creating a small place of heaven .

No seats available if u book it same day! That's why I haven't go there often because I couldn't have a seat! It is sooooooo busy because Everyone likes there! I tried the snails as starter and whaoooo! Pasta, i take it as the most delicious pasta in Den Haag but not expensive. I ordered the pasta with shrimp but as I shrimp lover I personally prefer larger shrimp. The home made tiramisu should never be missed! Don't be surprised that the waitress is not at your service. They are too busy. I give one star less than perfect because of the service.

Giuliano's is a family business founded in 1996 and still owned and operated by the original founders. Walking into Giuliano's you immediately feel like part of the family. This meal was not cheap but it was definitely worth it as a treat to ourselves after a long adventure in The Netherlands. For our appetizer, we ordered the Bruschetta al Tartufo (Left Picture), with roasted bread from Naples and a truffle tapenade. As my main course, I chose the Ravioli al Pomodoro e Basilico, with tomatoes, fresh basil, dried tomatoes and parmesan (Right Picture). The Middle Picture also shows Marisa and Laura's main courses. Finally, for dessert, we ordered the Tartufo, a chocolate truffle ice cream. No matter what you order from Giuliano's it will be delicious. They use the best ingredients and it is obvious they love and care for all of the food they create.
