Our work event ended early so two of us wandered over to Little Italy at 5. My colleague had their delivery and wanted to try the in-person experience, and I have never been there. Seating was prompt and friendly. We had menus for drinks and food, and the wait staff checked in thoughtfully. We started with appetizers: meatballs, blistered tomatoes with burrata, and fried Italian dumplings with rice, perfectly seasoned meat and mozzarella. Each came with a lovely sauce and two slices of Italian bread, perfect for sopping up the tomato sauces or blend of balsamic vinegar and burrata cream. We ordered our appetizers and entrees at the same time so when we were finishing these, our entrees arrived, and we were already a little full! Chicken Parmesan and Shrimp Ricardo were started, enjoyed, with leftovers being packed up. Chicken was moist and tender within its seasoned crust. Sauce can be either traditional tomato or meat sauce, we went for the former but the latter is also tasty from delivery experience. Shrimp Ricardo was full of large shrimp and a spicy-at-a-complimentary level vodka sauce. Not a dish for people who prefer near-mild, but not as spicy as Fra Diavolo. Chunks of savory tomato were mixed in with the sauce. We both opted for the fresh parmigiana being grated over the dish. We went home full and happy. Great ambiance, we were dressed for our work retreat, nearby there were two best friends catching up, a family around the corner, and bar seating was on the other side of the floor. Lots of natural and soft lighting on the first floor. It was easy to make conversation and enjoy a delicious meal with our neighboring patrons. Tonight on 4/4/26 my husband and I went to Amiccis for date nightand it was a total Disappointment to say the least. We had a good server who was on top of our service and gave recommendations. The appetizer were good meatballs and mozzarella sticks with marinara sauce and sauce had good flavor. The actual food was a total Disappointment. My husband ordered the chicken parmesan with penne pasta. His chicken parmesan was dry, overcooked, and luke warm to say it had just came from the kitchen. The pasta was not tossed in thr marinara, the marinara tasted like canned tomato versus the marinara we received eith mozzarella sticks. I ordered the baked bolognese. This dish was lacking all flavor, had too much cream in the marinara making it a faint color of pink. I have had Rosa sauce many times and make myself and it requires little cream, the whole dish was also loose/watery. When we told our server I didn't like the dish and want to send back, this is when he breaks the news that I CANNOT send my food back it THEIR policy! The server said he could send a manager over. When the manager came she of course asked what was wrong I explained and her response was "Its one of most popular dishes and can I get you a side of vodka sauce"! At no point did she offer another meal or comp the meal I did not eat. If this the Amicci policy it should be stated on menu that is a paying customer does not like food they will still be charged! No amount of sauce would have made my dish good, it was already too loose saucey. Such a disappointment in dinning experience and management poor service recovery! read more

Amicci's was a good place to cure a hangover. I made my own gnocchi dish, which was basically gnocchi alla sorentina, and ordered the garlic bread. Garlic bread was quite good; gnocchi was fine. Service was really friendly and kind. I think there are way better options for Italian in Baltimore, but if you are craving some hearty portions and old-school pasta, Amicci's does the trick. read more

Went to Amicci's last night. Worst experience ever. First, the menu is very small. My kid is a picky eater and there were "0" items on the menu that he could eat. I always carry snacks, so he had a drink and snacks. Next, I ordered my meal and a side pasta. Ya'll no lie, this guy brought me dry pasta, no sauce. He says but you didn't say you wanted sauce. So I had to wait for the sauce to be prepared. Meanwhile my pasta sits, untouched, getting cold, cause it took a good 20-25 minutes for him to come back with sauce. At this point, I'm irritated and uninterested in cold pasta. So I ask to have it removed, to which he says I cannot remove it from your bill. My first response is, "Who's paying for it? Not me!" I wasn't going to pay $18 for food I could not enjoy. So the manager comes out. When I say a nasty lady, that's an understatement. In all my dining out experiences, I've never encountered such a rude manager. She basically says it's my fault and they're not going to remove it from the bill. She offers to go warm up the pasta-ma'am no thank you, so you can spit in my food? I'll pass. Long story short, I had to pay $4. It was the disrespect for me. 0 out 10, I do not recommend. read more

Very comfortable restaurant! Like your having dinner at Noni's house. The food is the best Italian I've eaten in years! And their grilled chicken salad is to die for. On the outside, Amici's is very cute, it fits in really well with the Little Italy decor in the area. The inside wasn't very remarkable, but the little patio area at back had cute plants and little tables. However, once we were seated on the patio, they told us that the full menu wasn't available to be served outside and happy hour deals didn't apply outside? Not sure why, but we decided to head back inside to eat. I started with the Sangria, which is the one thing I really liked, it had fresh fruit and was very flavorful! The caesar salad was what you'd expect, I also got pepino's lasagna which was okay but I was told the sauce had a bit of spice but it was more sweet than spicy. Finally, we got tiramisu which was good, but didn't have a strong coffee flavor. Overall, the price was okay and the food was okay, I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat there again, but I wouldn't be upset if I ended up there. read more

Great food and portions generous. Thought I could tackle the entire baked rigatoni after a house salad and arancini; no way! My wife built her own gnocchi plate and that too had to be bagged to take home for later Service was great and it was good to be there before the dinner rush started since we got there before 5pm. Came on valentines day and sat at the bar. The bartenders were great and super efficient. The food was incredible. But there was a woman who seemed to be a manager, she was wearing a light pink lace shirt with a black three quarter cardigan (yes I'm being specific) that really disappointed me. She was putting away newly washed glasses and I noticed a stack was still dirty. Thinking I was being helpful I told her they were dirty, trying to prevent making a drink (3 drinks actually) that would be wasted when the person received a dirty glass. She took the glasses and put them in the dirty area but never looked at me or said thanks or anything and even acted bothered. I took it a step further and, with a smile, said I hope that was helpful. Nothing. Look- I know things get busy but to be busy is a blessing, it's a good problem to have. Being rude to your customers who are patronizing your business seems counterproductive. And of course it's all I thought about the rest of the meal, caught between being bothered by her rudeness and trying not to let it ruin the experience but she was around a lot and now I felt like a bother, like I did something wrong. Anyway, I'll return, and those bartenders were really graceful under pressure, but that lady was just not a good representative of a good place. Hope she has better days going forward. read more

Came to Baltimore for trawlerfest. Looked around Little Italy for good ratings and Amicci's ranked #2. Thanks yelpers. You hit another good place ! The salad had a really good dressing but the lettuce was 'old'. It was eatable but a few stems of the romaine were browning and a few leaved were not crisp and new. This is the only reason a 5 star rating wasn't given. The eggplant parmigiana was delicious. The sauce was lovely. My husband really enjoyed the pepinos lasagna. We were too full for dessert. I was in Baltimore last week and decided to stop in Little Italy on a whim! I really enjoyed this place. It must be a pretty popular place because it got crowded rather quickly. The bottle of house wine was only $20. My friend LOVED her gnocchi and my chicken Parmesan was good as well! Someone near us got the Pane Rotundo and that's definitely a must try next time I'm in town. It looked so good! My only complaint is at the time of my visit it was during restaurant week and Amicci's had a lunch and dinner special. I didn't know this until later on. The server nor the host mentioned the special going on. Based on previous city's restaurant weeks, participating restaurants generally mention it or have an extra menu to inform people of their specials. read more

Ordered Uber eats from here and got the shrimp Alfredo, garlic bread, and tiramisu. The shrimp Alfredo was very creamy but needed more cheese, I ended up adding garlic salt to add more flavor. The garlic bread wasn't super flavorful either. The tiramisu was ok a little dry. The food was ready very quickly and arrived at my place fully intact. I first came to Amicci's about 20 years ago. I was in town for a conference and my friend and sister heard about this great restaurant in Little Italy. I enjoyed it so much I bought a shirt for my husband so I would remember the name and told him I wanted us to go back together someday. Twenty years later we were able to visit Amicci's together and we had the best meal. Our server was great, attentive, refilled drinks on her own, very thoughtful. We were able to make a reservation if it was for the same day. The food was incredible. Every bite was delicious. The portions are generous and we split everything with plenty leftover. You really should try the Pane Rotunda if you are there, the bread is crusty and full of flavor with the sauce. The shrimp are some of the best I have ever had. When you are done, across the street is an Italian bakery and it too is a real treat to visit. I had an extremely poor experience at this family-owned Italian restaurant in Baltimore. Not only did the server bring out the wrong dishes after my friend carefully pointed to the correct ones, but the manager's attitude was shockingly unprofessional. When we explained the mistake, the manager outright refused to consider that their staff might be at fault. Instead, they blamed us for "ordering wrong" and said they trusted their server over the customer. Quoted from their word, "My server has never done anything wrong before" which makes me doubt. They couldn't provide any proof, of course, and the whole situation felt like they were just covering for their own staff because it's a family-run place. I definitely believe the Manager whoever works for the lunch shift on Friday, Dec 12th 2025 should get more training on acing this job. In the end, they only gave a partial refund and treated us with a lot of disrespect. I would definitely not recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for decent service. read more

If I could give Amicci a 4.5/5.0 on Yelp I would. Our dining experience tonight was great. Our server tonight was very courteous, the food was delicious, especially the Penne LaRosa. The calamari was a bit chewy, I doubt I'll order it again. But the garlic bread with mozzarella was very good. We had the Coconut Lime Crush; and it was very good. I'm cautious with coconut flavored drinks but it was very good! The ambiance was nice, for a Friday night all tables were full and there was a line at the door during our visit; we arrived just before the dinner rush and managed to be seated right away without a reservation. My friend surprised me with some Amicci's delivery a few days ago and it was good, fresh, and comforting. The sheer size of the pane' rotundo caught me by surprise!! Just WOW- The round Italian loaf was larger than my head!! Sooo impressive and definitely a great starter to share with a big group if you're in the mood for shrimp swimming in deliciously creamy scampi sauce I would have preferred a more flavorful sauce on the penne la rosa, but overall everything tasted wonderful! For dessert- the homemade tiramisu was a classically good choice, I loved tasting the rich yet airy yellowish cream on top. This family owned and operated restaurant has been serving up killer Italian food in Baltimore's Little Italy since 1991. I was the second person to sit at the bar that night but by the time I was ready to leave, wait was insanely long.... The particular night I visited, they had a great three-course meal special. Most people around me looked like they came here for that special. I wasn't that hungry so I just ordered clams. It came with bread and was plenty as a meal for me. Specials on glass wine was reasonably priced and it wasn't too bad at all. Bartender/server was extremely busy and I watched her work so hard trying to keep up with the demand. I had a delicious dinner at Amicci's with family. To start we ordered The Pane' Rotundo which was absolutely amazing. The flavor was just awesome and there was more than enough for three people. The only negative I would say is that the server did not seem very knowledgeable about the wines. I wanted a white and asked if they had a Sauvignon Blanc. This place did not disappoint for the most part. I had a good experience with the workers there and they were all friendly. The food portions were a lot bigger than i expected, so i was able to take the rest home and have it for lunch the next day. One of the best tasting Italian restaurants in Baltimore! I am huge on seasoning and flavors and Amicci's delivered! The restaurant was nice and clean, the service was great, the wait times were short. I started with an arancini appetizer and found myself mopping up the sauce with bread. i travel to baltimore for work about twice per year. i have to visit amicci's every time because the Pane' Rotundo is to die for. it's a generous bottom or top slice of an artisan round loaf of bread. they grill both sides after saturation in butter. scampi sauce is poured on, then seven large shrimp are added. it's incredible. they have carry out specials every day, like 3 courses for $20. they have happy hour (m-f 3-7 pm), they accept only same day reservations. great place, good service, nice bar attached, good drinks. read more
