No frills, lots of fun, lots of apples. We came in late September, and the parking lot was crowded,…read morebut the orchards are big enough that it wasn't crowded at all as we were walking around. Lots of the most popular varieties (like honeycrisp) were pretty picked over, but we still found more apples than we wanted to carry, and our kids mostly had fun running in giant loops around the farm. It was sunny and lovely and great to be outside. There's not a lot more to it than that. I gather it's now popular for apple picking orchards to have roller coasters or petting zoos, and I have no idea why. They don't have those things here. They have a tractor that will take you in a circle around the property, and they sell hot, freshly-fried apple cider donuts that are really great -- they tasted more like apple cider than any cider donut I've eaten. By the time we got home, our son was asking when we could go back. We plan to make it a yearly tradition.

Made the trek out to see The Thing With Feathers at 6:35PM only to get there and be told they cancelled the showing. No rhyme or reason why, they were still open, movies were still being shown, and there was about 6 staff just sitting there when I walked in, when I got home Google still shows that they were/are having the 6:35 showing so I'm unsure if I was just lied to or if someone at this theater just didn't want to do their job and show the movie. Very furious and will be escalating this.

A great experience and great value…read more The pricing for unpick is less than what you'd generally pay for blueberries at the grocery store. That's a winner in itself. The property is expensive and the staff was welcoming and told us where to go for the best batch at that time. Not all berries ripen at the same time. I went the weekend of July 4th and it was rather tame around 9am when I arrived. (No queue). But after finishing the pick, it was quite long queue as they weigh. Credit card is extra 3% fee. If you bring your own container to bring home it'll be cheaper as you use their white buckets to pick and weigh, but you need a container to take home. They do sell 5lb and 10lb boxes to take home for a nominal fee (I think it was $1-2)
