The previous Hospice was OK, but I wanted to compare. Inland Regional Hospice was one of the companies given to me. The owner himself came to my home with his assistant. He was very caring and very realistic. The staff from the receptionist to the social worker are amazing. My mom was in my home during her Hospice care and I was her caregiver. Sherene was her case manager nurse and was always available no matter what time of the day. I always looked forward to the Social Worker Shekinah visits as she always made me feel I needed to take care of myself. She always showed sincere concern of my mental and physical care. Comparing my experience with the first Hospice and Inland Regional, I'm so blessed to have Inland Regional with me when my Mom passed away.

I had questions and got answers right away. No run around. No night time fill in company who didn't k ow us! They were fantastic. All the people were so Sweet and knowledgeable. I didn't have to do their jobs for them! And I was so happy to know my aunt was in good hands. The other company I had to help and do their job for them. Or show them how to care for her. Today as I wrote this my aunt passed away. I called them and they were here within the hour. Called the mortuary and took care of her for her cleaned up and ready for pick up. The sweetest nurse Adrian. Adrian you are an angel. I love your outgoing personality and so loving you were our angel these last days. So thank you. Dealing with a quick and unexpected advanced cancer diagnosis, we had to act quickly in selecting a hospice provider. My sister and I researched all of the local companies and after interviewing several providers, Lilebeth's attentiveness, knowledge, personality, responsiveness, compassion, and mission stood out to us immediately. We were a bit under the gun to prep things at home, and she sprung into action relying on her excellent relationships with her transport and equipment providers, and we were set up within 2 hours from the time we hired her. We could not have made a better decision. Her whole team seamlessly became part of our family and she gracefully helped educate and guide us through an extremely difficult process. He did not want to stay another night! Even though it was late the night that we got home, Dr. Fukuda visited us to introduce himself and engage in meaningful conversation with my dad. Dr. Fukuda has a very positive and friendly presence, and he knows what questions to ask to spark interest in the patient. The weekly visits from the nurse, Karen, gave my father something to look forward to. When she came to check vitals and address any concerns, she was efficient, but also respectful. I also liked her use of more natural medicines. Finally, I was comforted by Chaplain Wong's visits and phone calls. By end of day on Tuesday I called my primary doctor office to get a new referral for home support. Wednesday morning I called the new referral authorization they said they did not have the authorization yet even though I gave them the number. I destiny home health.com/ waited 5 hours & called back still they had not received authorization. I call my medical center back ask them to fax it to Destiny home, I waited 20 minutes & called them back to see if the received the authorization and believe it or she then told me they don't have staff to cover & was rerouting my authorization back to my pro. All these facilities are so unprofessional unbelievable. Not even my dr will reach out to to assist. SAD PART IS IM AFRAID OF NOT PROPERLY HEALING BECAUSE I HAVE NO IDEA WHAT PT EXERCISES I NEED TO START ON MYSELF. BECAUSE I WAS TOLD BY THELMA OFFICE MANAGER THAT IT WOULD BE ANOTHER 2 WEEK TO GET A NEW APPROVAL.
